I think Shaq has proven to be one of the most dominate centers in the game, I put him on there in place of Hakeem, tough call but this is about the best on the floor set of 12 and I wanted some more bodyweight. Bird please tell me you are kidding with Bird.... Bird is not top 10 in either scoring, rebounds, steals, assists or blocks, certainly he is one of those players that has a knack for winning but he could not take the spot of any of the guys on my list, sorry Tony.

Admittedly Dr. J would have been a nice addition but I do have Jordan, and stats don’t lie, I believe the intent was to make a team that if all were in their prime playing together that they would beat any other team that could be mustered against them including some duplications of themselves. Bird was a very good player on a team concept team that was built and functioned to support him as their go to guy from where he was effective, Bird outside of that structure would not be a significant contributor on a team of the most elite players, you cannot take any one guy off my team and add Bird in his place then tell me that the Bird team would be definitively better. Stockton is possibly the most expendable player on my roster as far as being a one on one player and he is probably the best true point guard in the game, # 1 in assists and steals all time and I think in the low 20’s in scoring. Bird is what 21st in scoring I think and that is the best stat he has, he does have a high 3 point percentage life time but Jordan is not far off as a quick example. Dominique is 9th all time scoring and with him and Jordan, other than maybe Dr. J and a more mature Kobe there are no two more effective drivers in the game. Barkley is 15th in scoring and rebounds, all of my power forwards have better stats than that, Hayes is 6 and 4, Karl is 2 and 6, and M Malone is 5 and 5 beyond that Wilt Kareem and Russell are the top rebounders in the game and Kareem and Wilt are 1 and 4 in scoring respectively. Now Shaq may not physically last long enough to reach the top 5 of the points or rebounds categories but head to head in the modern game he could more than hold his own against Wilt, or Kareem. Stats don't lie. ;D

Stockton actually has a higher lifetime 3 point shooting % than Bird. It can be lonely being a genius Christian. You east coast guys are too close minded, Bird and Barkley.. Please anyone on this board, since I am the "only one “ feel free to elaborate on why Barkley should be on the team instead of any of my power forwards. Bird in my mind of a balanced winning team is up against MJ, Magic, and Dominque. The only one you could possibly consider he replaces is Dominque, so please I would like to hear the arguments for doing so, if a clutch long range shooter is what you are looking for, then Miller goes ahead of Bird in my opinion. .397 vs .376 from arch.
