On another note:
I am getting tired of reading all of these posts about how you guys/girls don't like the American government, and how corrupt it is blah blah blah. I stand up for my country although I am not in the military (But if I had to fight I would). I love what I have here in my country and I think most of you would agree, and you would not trade it for the world. Many of you bitch like a bunch of damn pansies. I believe someone stated that the US was a puppet for Israel. LOL What a damn joke!!!!!!! Israel would have already blown half of the Arab nations to hell and back, and our world would be non existent due to nuclear warfare if it weren't for U.S intervention. Sorry to be like this, but I believe Metallica had a song out years ago called "The Master of Puppets", and by God in Heavan USA is the Master not a puppet. If you disagree then your ass should be exiled. If you do not like this country or our government, either A) Keep your anarchist comments to yourself or B) Get the hell out, don't look back and see if any other national government assists you in anything other than a poverty stricken life. It is because of so much B.S. compromise and "Let's meet in the middle" that has gotten out nation in turmoil. I'm not directing this post to any one person in particular, because I'm not exactly sure how some of you feel about this. So if some of you get offended and come back to argue, then it will be made publicly known who you. This has been building up for a long time and now I have it off my chest.

Isn't Armenia the only Christian country in it's area?

I agree with that 100% There are things i dont agree with about the way this country has been run in the past or present. But i love this country and will fight for it (i dont want to have to though) But i will fight for truth here on my soapbox. Without Truth this nation is left to mans carnal thinking. As Karen would agree with that Human element things get messed up. i believe this country was based and founded on the principles of God and Christ. And we Must make that point boldly clear.

I'm getting tired of reading about GOD on every freaking thread that Mr. Thames decides to put on here. If you can find a way for him to stop maybe your wish might be granted.

If you disagree then your ass should be exiled. Yea, that's a good semi-literate rant: agree with the government or be exiled. One question: Is being critical of the government the same as being critical of the country? I like the USA for the freedom and prosperity (both of which are rapidly eroding at present) but I'm not a big fan of some of the things the government does ... like, say, the Pentagon losing over a trillion (that's a thousand billion dollars) and hardly a peep of this making the mainstream news... www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2003/05/18/MN251738.DTL... or a million other things. "Shape up or ship your ass somewhere else"? That's a curious title. I guess that fitness is measured by adherence to government propaganda: those who do not buy the party line at the moment are not "fit" to be in the USA. What do you think this is? A country of lemmings? Have you ever read George Orwell's 1984?

I can see both sides of this. The one I agree wit hthe most is that you can be a supportive American without supporting its government. I also think that we as the United States are not the same Country that our ancestors fought for in 1776. We do not stand for the same things now. However, I also see Olin's point. If you are speaking against the way in which we are governed, fine. Thats our right. But if you speak against the Red White and Blue.. then you need to leave here and see how much better it is pledging to another flag. So both Garrett and Olin have valid points in my eyes. And agreeable points.
I have said my piece on the other issue and it has nothing to do with Christianity, just insulting behavior.

Ryan, last year we spoke on the phone and I asked you to get involved in your community, local and state government. I hope you chose to do so.
Ryan, Olin, not everything is so cut and dry. I spend a good part of my own free time, trying to help change unjust laws and the bureaucracy and political lies, b.s. and bribing I have seen (from the outside looking in) has been vast in number and uneasy to penetrate. Getting people involved is hard enough. Getting politicians to change anything in government without thinking about their image to their constituents and their own pockets is an entirely different story.
I love this country as much as Olin, and I understand somewhat where he is coming from. Too many people complain about it to change it for the better. Our younger generation is not involved. And this country right now, unfortunate though it may be, is a shadow of its former self and stands for not much more than the mighty dollar regardless of what you are told on the national news.
