I personally think this movie was awesomely perfect and will live up to the originals unlike the two before.

I agree Joe and Steve,
It definitaly was way better than most of them, not as good as episode 6. One thing that sucked was I didnt fear for Obi Wans life in the intense fight scenes and I already knew the names of the babies.... Other than that....great movie, I always wondered what happened to Vader.

I loved the movie overall but somethings didn't sit well with me. The birth scene I could have done without. The babies didn't look new born and it all just seemed so forced. The time line wasn't explained very well so the rest of the movie didn't seem to have taken place over the time period of her being pregnant. Did she have the babies five minutes after she was taken off the volcano planet or a few months. Those little details drove me nuts because I loved every thing else. But I watched SW A NEW HOPE afterwards and a few things don't add up. Why does Obi Wan give the light saber to Luke immediately as he arrives and says "this was your fathers...he wanted you to have it" I know it is just a movie but those little things bug me. Also it drives me nuts that R2D2 flies and jumps. He never did that trash in the old movies and they should have never made that jump in the new trilogy...I don't care how advanced effects are...Lucas shouldn't have done that. It just makes me cringe every time I see him jump out of the space ship. Also...why did they have to give the emporor an a s s crack in his forehead?? The music seemed less dramatic to me during pivotal scenes then in some of the other episodes.. like when darth maul enters the final scene in episode one the music was the key to making that scene so dramatic and episode three lacked that I felt. so I saw episode one four times in 24 hours (trying to figure out the political stuff) and episode2 3 times in the first week and now I have seen 2...twice and I think, I am done. I was kind of bored the second time around. oh...well...but as a whole...I love the entire six movies. well done. On a side note.... In episodes 1 through 3...battle droids get sliced and diced by light sabers a hundred times yet in the original trilogy....NOT ONE STORMTROOPER GETS CUT IN HALF!!! What gives?? Gary for more cool star wars talk goto www.aintitcoolnews.comand for all upcoming movie stuff go to www.boxofficeguru.comI check these sites at least once a week. And if you are a king kong fan. coming out this december check out www.kongisking.net and watch all the behind the scenes videos. good stuff

but in episode 3 the stormtroopers(clones) don't get cut either, that's because they are humans and slicing every clone would be striking down which is against the force. that's why they just reflect their blasters and so on, to defend and only defend themselves

The Clones are "technically" good guys in Ep 3...built for the protection of the Republic, so they never had to go against Jedi directly. (from memory of course, I could be wrong)

do you not remember the clones shooting all of the jedi when their backs where turned? they were good for the most part until the plan 66 ordered by Palpetine

Aye...good point. I forgot about that. If Lucas was going to have all the Jedi murdered, He could have atleast had them go down fighting....cutting a few clones into bits.
The jedi should have sensed something in the force...No?

EPISODE 3 is in the top 2 best of all 6 IMO. If not the best 1. But there's actually room for another film if they wanted to. The origins of Han Solo and the middle time for Boba Fett between childhood in ATTACK OF THE CLONES and as a bounty hunter in EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Also the background of how Han teamed up with Chewbacca after Chewie's bit part in REVENGE OF THE SITH. That is a story in one of the novels if you follow those but would make a good movie and more about the bounty hunters in EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Could make a good storyline with these elements.
I liked how EPISODE 3 tied everything together too and even brought back some of the original film sets. 2 thumbs up! Yes pretty dark and more violent but hey they are building up how Darth Vader became so evil. So can't be really nice about it.

We saw it yesterday. All I can say is, it cannot be topped by any other Star Wars made thus far. I agree with Gary about the buttcrack for a forehead...
We came home and watched Episode IV (A New Hope) to compare how they tied it all in. Cudos. The saber fighting was lame compared to Episode III, but hey, they we old men then.

There is going to be a television series that will take care of some of those in between story lines...that is what the rumor is anyways...

yes, and george lucas said based on the feedback he gets from the television shows he might make another movie.......but not continuing the saga......more of a prequel to episode 1, explaining more of yoda and qui gon
