The Titanic was unsinkable, if the first four compartments were punctured. Of course the engineer never thought to design the walls up to the ceiling after the first four compartments. The gap responsible for taking her down was 12 feet sq. It does not take a lot to sink a gigantic ship.
Way off topic here!!!!! ;D
The evolution/creation train has never stopped since the mid nineteenth-century. And it never will ;D

Why drop it Charles? It's a topic that has been discussed and debated literally forever. Thus far, everyone has maintained cool heads and acted like adults. Normally threads regarding religion have turned into heated conversations where everyone was insulting each other and their beliefs but so far, it hasn't this time.
Let's face it, there's a lot of threads on here where people have turned them into nothing but insults and disrespect and they didn't have to do with religion - so it's really about the people. It's our choice whether we discuss with respect or not. I say if you can maintain a cool head and cool mouth then go for it. If you can't then don't post. It's a great topic - why not talk about it.

WOW excellent comment and response.......whats the catch? Im glad to see that someone notices it isnt the subject, but the people. However, i will be one to admit that subject will bring out the reality in the people

It almost always does. I might be wrong, but from what I saw the thread went no where, and people were getting upset. So why continue? Debate without progress or resolution is not good..............

That's why I said why don't we all let it go. I'm not telling anyone what they can post or what they should post, it was just a suggestion. Ryan, send me a picture of that little chopper if you got one.

WOW excellent comment and response.......whats the catch? Im glad to see that someone notices it isnt the subject, but the people. However, i will be one to admit that subject will bring out the reality in the people What do you mean "what's the catch?" There's no catch. It's real simple. If you really take a look, it's almost always the same people that post the rude, beligerant, belittling, ridiculing comments on here. I even think with some it doesn't even matter what the topic, it's just an opportunity. Sadly, they're too ignorant to realize they only make themselves look bad We've all seen politics, religion, sex, employment, etc discussed our entire lives. Is there a solution? Probably not or at least it hasn't been found yet. Why can't people talk? Just talk, with cool heads and respect for each other. It doesn't matter if we all don't agree. Just think how boring it would be if we all did agree on everything. Difference of opinion is a good thing and a lot can be learned by simply listening to others opinions. Charles - Debate without progress or resolution is not good. You're kidding right? Being able to debate IS progress. It means people are not only talking but listening as well. And there is always resolution --- of some kind. Whether it's for or against what the topic or just for everyone to believe what they believe, there's a resolution. We just all have to remember that we're all adults, we all have our own opinions, and we all have our own beliefs. AND, we all deserve the same amount of respect no matter what it is we believe or think.

i find the most important part of an open debate like this is that people can look from the outside at all angles and view points and come up with there own conclusions. People tel me i push my believes or im running people away, yada yada yada But atleast they have an opportuniy if they want it.......sadly there are too many people that never do hear about jesus..... We as americans take for granted the gospel of christ because we grew up around it especially in the south. But there are many even in america that have never heard the gospel for the first time. somebody has to tell them....you and i may drive different vehicles but unless we drive them people wont have an accurate perception of the better brand vehicle
