Ok not to be a ball buster but I just can't let half truths fly..lol I currently work for a ford dealership and I'm sorry to say Mr Matle that the Mercury never came with an Interceptor pkg.. And though it has a 4.6 modulor motor option it is not a Hemi.... As for my ride I own a 72 Mercury Montego GT with a 429CJ motor that I've implanted.. It came stock with the 351 HO engine back then, which I still have .. I will say this the 429 is farrrrr from stock lol OH yeah and for those die hard Ford guys I have a "N" case carrier sitting in the axle housing ;D

Thats what I was told when it was given to me through a will. I am not or never will be a ford fan, but still have the car out of respect. My grandfather was a hotrodder and each of the boys got one of the cars on his passing. It is not stock by any means, and I could not tell you anything about fords, so if I send you some pics of the engine could you tell me what it was from the pics? From what I can tell its a smaller block, but I am not sure what small blocks hemi there are. Did they make a 326? Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks Vic for setting me straight. Also I found my new car, but its in california, so I will have to drive down, unless you guys know of another way to do it, like transporting by freight?

Here's a pic of my first wheels I bought, brand new from the Harley dealership.. A 2000 Harley Davidson FXD And my second set of wheels was this 1996 Ford Bronco, the last year this truck was made. I still have them both...

I didn't want to start a new thread but had a question for you all. I recently put a high volume fuel pump on my car and I'm still having trouble. I think the carb is jetted wrong. If any of you know how to determine jet size by elevation, motor size whatever please let me know. It is a holley 650 by the way. Thanks (gear heads)
