Mark, Believe it or not, my hook has gotten a lot better and is actually stronger than the toproll now. I went there with my sights set on Pardinton and hooked him twice and felt very good. When I felt the other guys power in the hands and wrists, and especially the size and length of his arms and hands, I think I just went with my basic instincts. I thought about a hook afterward, but too late. I know you probably can't tell from the video, but I've never felt stopping power in the hands and wrists like that guy. He was unreal, and huge, just ask anyone who pulled him. Next time he will get hooked for sure, and I'll take my chances there.
I know what you're thinking with Baldomir and understand your reasons, I just don't think tonight is the night. Mayweather hasn't come down to human levels yet.

What about Shannon Briggs?Just saw the fight and OMG...An out-of-shape fighter knocks the russian out of the ring. I've always liked Briggs. Can you say Holyfield vs Briggs in May? Does Tyson come back? Lewis?

Wasn't even close. Floyd dominated and won easily.
Casey, that is exactly what it looked like, tall arm, strong hand. That's why I thought it looked like you should have hooked him. Great job putting it on Scott.

Thanks Mark! But, I don't want to get Scott to fired up, he's a great competitor!!
Hey guys, Briggs may have won, and I do like him, but he sure didn't look like a champion to me. Lichovich was begging Briggs to knock him out all night and Briggs wouldn't do anything. He was out of breath before the fight even started. Now... there is a champion that Holyfiled can beat. I just don't see him beating Oquendo. Doesn't he have management? Off all the guys out there, Oquendo is probably the worst selection of all of them. I think Toney knocks out Briggs in 6 or less.
