Ya'll are right. He wanted me to be happy, he loved me talking about tournaments, he knew how much I loved to compete. I have said that I don't have any friends to talk to about this with-but ya'll have proved me wrong. Thanks Chuck, maybe I'll see you in LA 5-4-13.

Thanks Glenn, he is better off now. He was sick for a year-his heart was failing, only had 15% blood flow from blocked arteries. It was hard to work with him everyday and watch him get weaker and weaker. He worked till the Friday before he died the next Friday. He taught me to be honest and hard working, that's what I'm going to do. Thanks for being so supportive everyone, it means a lot to me.

Oh, I will be there and work is slack so I been training extra hard. I have been cheered up by some arm wrestlers. My dad is in a better place and I will do my best to get on with my life and do the best I can and then some. Most guys call me butch, I will live up to it.

You know, just ya'll responding to my post makes me feel better because I have no friends(no time). I feel like I have friends now in the arm wrestling world. Thank you for your thoughts, I feel better and I know in time it will get even better.

Thank you for your reply, I guess it's hard cause I am reminded of him everyday because I am still putting in floors and that is what he wanted me to do. Hope to see you in LA, where I will do my best to kick some ass!!

I know what my odds are if I can't get out of this funk I'm in over my dad's death. He always hated me taking time off from work to arm wrestle. I'm coming anyway. All I can do is my best and hope it's good enough to at least place.

I was with him at his home when he passed on Feb. 22 this year. Everyone says it will get easier, but it seems to be getting harder. See, for 17yrs I worked with my dad, I spent more time with him than anyone else in the family. We were the floor installers to call, everyone knew us and our work. Since he passed I dropped out of the on-line college I was going to, I'm doing the best I can to run the jobs. I don't know, just seems like every job I do makes me sadder. I been training for Lake Charles in May, but I'm losing interest in everything. I don't have any friends to talk to, and my husband don't seem to care. Any suggestions?

Hey, I hate to break in on the men talking, but has anyone heard any chatter of women at this tournament. That's a long way to go and I want to pull-and that after party ya'll keep talking about.
