I wasn't there but as someone with fairly small hands , I like the refs grip VS someone carving hard or starting with their wrist twisted like what happens in some tournaments . The worst is if someone constantly is try to start in the hook and the refs are trying to twist the hands to get them straight , when the wrists are twisted straight it usually benefits the guy with the bigger hand trying to hook as his fingers are longer and still "wrapped" vs a small guys fingers get moved when wrists are straightened. At least that's what I found ... At some tournaments I'd much rather start like that with a "fair" grip rather than fight someone

Ya unfortunately over the years , I've seen it alot ... Sucks to be put out of a tournament by only the first place guy and not even get to pull to see if your better than 2nd and 3rd place , it happens I guess

Thanks guys I think it's mostly confusing because I've seen them messed up soo often and can't remember how many times I've part of a tournament where the brackets got messed up and I ended up pulling the first place guy twice before the finals. I understand its not an easy job but it seems alot of people mess it up

I like this format but how many spots do you get it for without knowing how many entries there will be ?

Seems like it happens everywhere . Guys continuing to pull novice because they don't want to make the tough transition but people should step up and police there selves , cordinators shouldn't have to babysit grown men ...

Anyone got an update on the top ten list ? Seems like alot of inactive pullers .... Maybe the list should be re-done at the start of the year and you have to pull to be in it , just an observation ...
