I agree with most of the posts on this thread/ One thing I'd like to add is this "If you are a cocky pr!@k, you look that much more ridiculous when you get beat!!!!" (and then the excuses begin.) You took the words out of my mouth and thoughts from my head. I HATE it when someone yells AFTER they win(really ticks me off when it's me that they do it too). If someone lets out a grunt or yell DURING the match IMO thats ok. I do it when I train so it happens sometimes in my matches. What do you guys think? absolutely...this best winners are the ones who show respect to there opponents...I hate people who bring the excuse book with them wherever you go...if you lose, you lose, get over it and train harder...its good to have intensity at the table but be considerate and respectful..not only to the person standing on the other side of the table, but also the 2 referees standing beside you...

There will always be some form of "cockyness" an disrespect within every sport not just armwrestling...passion is something you from years of pulling...its not somthing your going to have your 1st year...i was that coky arrogent competitor my 1st tourney..that changed when i went 2 up 2 down...and from years of dedicated training and competing i now have the LOVE of the sport...something i have earned...
