Johnny, the past few guys Aaron, John, and Fournier are very right. The most important thing is that you want to be there and make it part of your life. I did eight years in the Navy and I wouldn't trade it for nothing. Just like John I've been to some nice and bad places. But I was always happy to come home to our beautiful country. My family on both sides are very military. They were either Air Force or Army. Yes, I had to be the lil black sheep and go in the Navy because I knew I wanted to travel and boy did I travel. To make it simple: If your not married and want to travel go into the Navy.{The best advancments and pay} If your a family man at heart go into the Air Force.{Slow advanment, but better housing - country club b@st@rds. LOL} If you want to fight and have a lot of responsiblity go into the Marines. If you want to fight crazy go into the Coast Guard.{Good duty stations in the islands} If you just want to fight and run{Not my favorite pass time.LOL} go into the Army. But what every you do make sure your heart is into it because I've seen it make and break a lot of guys. Hope this helps, bro.

A great action movie with great special effects is Deep Rising with Treat Williams. I know a lot of people havn't even heard of it, but it is jam out. It came out around 97 and actually went to the movies theaters. Its one of those movies that kind of flew under the radar. If you guys havn't seen it please check it out and let me know what you think. John, the house full of cartoons, I've been there buddy.LOL

John, I havn't seen Jou Dou, but I'll check it out. Kurt, I have seen Son of Rambow and I liked it. I thought it really captured the imagination of just being a kid and the french kid was funny as hell.LOL I have a few film suggestions that I believe you all would like to see. For action and thriller check out Oldboy, Brotherhood of the Wolf, High Tension, Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior(Tony Jaa is awsome!!), and The Protector( I just love it when out of camera range Tony Jaa flys in with his knees up!!LOL) . For comedy action try Kung-fu Hustle(I laugh so hard when they try to throw the knives) and Shaolin Soccer(Both movies are directed by Stephen Chow who also plays the main character). For fantasy try Mirror Mask, Pan's Labyrinth(The director of this movie is Spansih director Guillermo del Toro who has directed the Blade and HellBoy moives along with The Devils Backbone and The Orphange). A good kid and family movie is Kaena: the Prophecy(Kirsten Dunst does the voice of Kaena and it also has Richard Harris and Anjelica Huston.) And for romance and comedy we like the french actress Audrey Tautou in Amelie, Priceless(Very Funny) , Happenstance, and Dirty Pretty Things. See.....what you have started Mr. Wilson.HAHAHAHAHAHA I hope you all check these out because I would really like to know your opinions about them.

My, my, my, Mr. Wilson what have you started here?LOL Not only am I a movie buff, I have a pretty extensive movie collection, and I also was in a film club in college.LOL Reading some of the posts here I see everyone shares a simliar quality for the films I like too. Apaloosa was good because it gave a more grounded look at the west. I'm still a sucker for the Deadwood series on HBO{That got canceled}. I have my collection of Godfather that I believe every man woman should watch comptley.LOL Star Wars too. I also find my self watching a lot of independent and foreign films too. It gives a whole new perspective on what is really being conveyed. I too like all generes. Good moives that come to mind is Perfume{A very deep movie) Grandma's Boy{A very funny moive} tied with Bad Santa{Always gets me in the holiday spirit LOL}, and Serenity.

XBOX 360 (Dead Space, Mass Effect,....etc.) Third person PS3 (Assassin's Creed, GTA IV, RE,....etc.)Third person Camping(There's nothing better then having a nice home and playing homeless once in awhile. It makes you appreciate things in life better.)LOL Fishing(Sheephead gigging with Chuck)LOL Cooking- I like to cook Cajun and Cerole dishes.(Originally from New Orleans) I have to get into the mood though.LOL Weight training(Finding new and "effect" ways to train) There's always a right way to do anything(I believe).LOL Traveling( I try to go somewhere different once a month) I believe it keeps the mind new and sharp. This doesn't necessary mean traveling overseas or out of state. Just means going somewhere new.LOL
