Snook will take this one. Not without a battle but I think he will win. Have a safe match to both of you guys. Wish I could watch it.

Jesse I broke my arm big time about at least 25 yrs ago. Elbow just about touched my shoulder when it swung when I stepped away from the table. My arm and hand was paralyzed because the nerve got crushed between the bone when they set it. Then they had to operate and install plates and screws which they took out after two years. I asked the doctor if I could still bench press and arm wrestle and he said it would be OK but I wasn't sure. I asked him if I had 400 on the bar would that be OK and he said the bone would be fine that the only reason I wouldn't be able to lift it was my my inability to lift it. Not the bone. He said if you want to arm wrestle it would be OK but he thought I was a little crazy. I think all arm wrestlers have a little crazy in them. Do whats best for you and you have a good mentor in your Dad. Tell him I said hello. Good luck in your recovery. I will keep you in my prayers. It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

What a great tournament. Leonard and Denise did a great job as did all the refs (Josh Stark,Jim Fittsimmons (Funny Guy), Tim Lewis, Leonard, Hollywood etc.). It was great to see old friends (Art Spindler, Nitro, Josh Vinicor and many more) and meet so many new arm wrestlers that were only faces on the internet before. It was nice to meet Ron Ermini, Bart Wood and Jeremy Durfee who kicked my butt on the table but taught me if I want to play with the big boys then I better train. Our Team Pa did a great job. I wish I could of done better then two seconds. It was fun watching Snook and Storm just own the table. I had a good time rooming and hanging with Snook and the Potts brothers but Snook snores too much. (only kidding). I'm looking forward to healing training and taking first next year. I'm glad its back in Connecticut.

Anthony
That would be great if you have a spot. I only need a chair to crash and a place to shower. I don't snore and I feel the same way about it. I might only stay for one night but I will pay for both nights just in case I lose all common sense and enter the open. Right now I'm starting with the old guys division. Count me in if it works for you just let me know.
Thanks Glen

Storm is a beast and a seems like a nice guy. I pulled him at Nitros tournament and I dont see many people getting past his hand and wrist. If they do then they have to deal with his arm. I wish I could of made it to this one. It looks like a lot of good pullers were there.

Thanks Chris. I hope to make it there. I havent trained in years so if I stay in the old guys class I might not get hurt. I will probably go open left if you don't have left in masters. I'm pretty sure I don't have to work that weekend so hope to see you guys then

Is there any old timers that remember an arm wrestler named Dave Story. He arm wrestled in the 70's. I believe he lived in Washington State. He used to be a bad dude in a motorcycle gang and was wanted by the FBI but turned his life around and became a Christian. I met him about 1980 in my high school in Pa. He came to my school and talked to the kids about his former life and what not to do. He also spoke about God,back when you could do that in school. He would get everybodys attention because he would bring his arm wresting table and challenge practically the whole school. I arm wrestled a group of men that were with him and beat them all but when I tried him he flashed me before I knew what hit me. He told me I had a lot of natural ability. He had a impact on me with his story. I would like to see if he is still around and how he is doing.I have tried searching the internet but I cant find anything. The next best place would be here. If anybody remembers him or has info on him,it would be much appreciated. I did see photos of him in one of the original arm wrestling books either by Ernie Jeffery or Mark Doherty.. THANKS
