Great event, had an awesome time and got to watch some of the top pullers around looking forward to the event next year. Refs did a great job and made the event go smooth.

I think the kid that Paul is talking about is Spencer Bartlett. I was a local boy who was strong as he'll. I have his contact info cause he is interested in learning and getting involved with the sport. So if there is anyone in the Syracuse area that is looking for anther practice partner let me know and if he contacts me I well send him your way. As for the tournament I think it went well. Good job too Rich and his mom on there first event. I think Kevin was your saviour, but it was a great learning experience and I hope you have it again next year. Maybe next year the left handed class could be like 0-165, 166-198, 199+. Cause 0-199 is a really hard class for us smaller fellas. I surprised my self taking third to Jeremy (1st), and Kevin (2nd). Pete Jones has come a long way since I pulled him last.. Keep up the hard work Pete. Still think it would have been nice to throw a Ryan McMicheals in the mix. Hopefully next time. Oh and for all event coordinators, giving money out instead of trophies makes the tournament much more worth attending. And it is easier on your selfsame cause there is no having to order trophies, or worrying if there will be enough people in every class, other wise you get stuck with trophies. JMO Yes I was talking about Spencer. Very impressed for his first time. Not really any technique but he had crazy strength and power. Not many times you go to a tournament and see something like that. Ken Im glad I got to pull you, it let me know where I stand and how hard I need to train now.

I think David is right....I want to offer classes for the 176 and 198 and stack the other as well.... So I Think.....0-154 155-187 188-220 221-UP I like these because we do get are fair share of 54's and alot 76's and 98's...so 155-187 will get the 176lb guys and will give them a buffer of 11lbs and the 188-220 will pretty much do the same for the 198lb guys and I Agree once your over 225-230 you are pretty much a Heavyweight. I like these because I hang about 187 just walking around, that means I wont have to cut weight to make 76's and I wont be towards the bottom of the 98's.
