Leonard, Well I Knew you would have to say something. Let's get it straight Leonard, I was never conned. I did not con anyone except Nick. You catch more flies with honey than vineger. I knew the gcw website was coming down before Nick. Now about your snotty attitude, it is most annoying. With your attack on me about my experience, noting your johnson contest remarks. I find that you say you don't know me and pick me apart as if I should answer to you personally, to be a reflection of poor judgement due to events(or lack there of in this instance. I'm sorry if you do not have the ability to read and understand things as they are written, but I said I speak the truth as I know it and I did. Perhaps you should read Dave's advice again. I believe he said something about unless you are willing to take the lead, well I was willing and I spent my own money to close this down. Now I was in contact with other persons in the sport, and I think if you do your homework before you run mouth you'll find I'm one of the good guys. By the way since I don't know you where did yiu first referee? Was it Dickinson, N.D. in1980? For some reason that it where I seem to recall you from.

Hi Jay, You nor Great Lakes ArmSports are members of USA. You would have received a membership form which would have had to be returned to me. (Tony who?) Memberships are not set up over the phone. If you would like to join just give me your street address and I will send out the necessary paperwork. We have all had experiences with "con men" and have learned that "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I do hope that you have learned something. Sometimes we all trust people we shouldn't and it bites us in the a**. Yours in ArmSports, Denise Wattles President, United States ArmSports

You were conning Nick? What a laugh! My so called attack on your experience was based on conversations with your references. I think that my questions about you and the whole set up that you were promoting was warranted and we were right in viewing these events and its salesmen with skepticism and you were the one with poor judgment to get involved. As for Dickenson N.D. in 1980, I could have been there but if I was, it would have been at a Jim Wright (Montana Armwrestling Association) tournament. You’re the last person that I am going to give credentials to; you’ve lost what little credibility that you had with this promotion and your attitude after. So give us some more bizarre statements so we can all have a chuckle. Except for anyone that actually pre registered and is out 275.00$, no chuckling there.

Like you would help someone get their money back, when you yourself are supposedly out money yourself....LOL... No, Jay you also are a CON man. Now you are trying to get out of it. You should just stop trying to cover yourself with these posts and your fake refs shirt. As always, when given facts and your own words you bash Leonard. FUNNY how that always happens. WOW you " might " know where Leonard first reffed a meet..WOWO.. Doubt you were even there. I'm sure one of your many first name buddies " might " have told you. LOVE your post to Cobra, Trying to get "some " credablilty by knowing him...Won't help on this board.

****Update*** January 2, 2005*** Jay's post at 9:55 pm (to Dave Devoto) "Many of you may be saying "I never heard of this Jay guy". So what? I've never heard of most of you. I had been wrestling for nine years, before I heard of you. The largest armsports guy in the business and in my small town in New Mexico (I now reside in MI) only two states away and I never heard of you. With this kind of publicity it's no wonder BALLROOM DANCING made it to the Olympics before we did. BALLROOM DANCING? This is why I have never joined on with any armsport organization." Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmm.
