The Pull for Life is an armwrestling tournament designed as a fundraiser dedicated to helping children, whether they are unborn, newborn, or in heaven. One June 28th, we will be hosting our 2nd "Pull for Life" dedicated to the family of Micah Babin, the firstborn son of Jeramy and Shelly Babin. Jeramy and Shelly anxiously awaited the arrival of the new baby only to find that what the doctors had said all along was true. Little Micah was born with a lethal disorder in which his limbs and organs were dangerously disproportionate. His little heart was so large and took so much room that his lungs couldn't develop. Upon delivery, he was immediately placed on life support. The mother and father prayed without ceasing and remained at the hospital as long as they could. With hospital bills increasing and income halting, this family needs a blessing from the church. They made the right choice in choosing life for baby Micah, only for God to take him away. Only a week into his life, Micah went to be with Jesus on May 27th. This fundraiser is so desperately needed to help Micah's family through this difficult time in their walk. If you are unable to come out to this event, please lift this family up in your prayers and ask the Lord how He wants you to help.
If you can’t make it to the event and God lays it on your heart to give, you may send a donation of love to:
The Micah Babin Fund c/o Ryan & Brittany Thames 26133 Shadow Brook Avenue Denham Springs, LA 70726 *Please make checks out to Cash or Jeramy & Shelly Babin.
