I have gotta share this..
For the past several months that the arm wrestling has been on ESPN / ESPN2 -- I have people coming up to me left and right telling me they saw it and how impressed they are by the sport itself. The comment I hear over and over is -- wow -- didn't know there was so much involved in the sport as far as technique goes.. There have been comments about how awsome the filming was done / the commentary presented and so on and so forth. All from people who just happend to come across it and decided to see what it was all about -- and they loved it!! I have to share this: Ron Bath is the name I hear over and over as being the "favorite" - sorry Travis. Todd Hutchings is another favorite.. The ones that everyone seems to love to hate is Mike Selearis and Travis Bagent. to funny -- but to be honest - that is how it works and that is what sells -- good guys vs bad guys.. Just had to share with ya'll that at least in my little part of the world we have fans of the sport that are not arm wrestlers themselves.... Many are looking forward to a tournament close enough to go to -- to see the action!
With that all said -- thanks guys for the talent.. and Thanks you Dave Devoto , Sevan and Bessie.
Nicole

Nicole, I keep getting the same thing! Even my brother called me from LA (He has never seen me pull). He said he was getting a sandwich at a deli and they had it on TV. It really has been great!

I will have to say as well, that the coverage on the Unifieds which aired on espn helped me out. 10 days before my Bad to the Bone event, I had a guy call me out of no where, tell me he had seen it, thought it was cool and decided to google it to see what else "was out there". He came up with my event and called me. Asked how he could "get involved and sponsor it somehow". I just about fell off my chair! Two days later I met him and he wrote me a $500 check! ;D I did decide to use it for radio advertising... never do that again! Spending half of it on nice, glossy posters would have done much more advertising for it! Oh well... live and learn. Anyway... a lot of people out my way have seen the shows... and were very impressed. Great job, Sevan and John on the commentating... And a big THANK YOU to Dave Devoto...

Dude, just swing up to my house some time. We have three TV's with Dish TV (two of which are big screen). And your what, a mile away from my house at most.
P.S. Don't worry about whether someone's there or not, Greg doesn't, plus I think you still have our house key from when my family and I went to Disney.

Yes Travis the Beast and Mike Selearis, are crowd pleaser even if they want someone to beat them!! Throughout the years i have been both Villain and Hero, and either one was fine, it draws people to our sport! People need to Reconize and relate with these athletes, I will try and bring Major focus and spotlight on both our Superstars and or up and coming Greats in the next Superstar Showdown here! When they found out I armwrestled the first thing they said " I just saw armwreslting on ESPN"

Yeah, this whole ESPN thing has really put us on the map! My girlfriends Dad told me he saw it the other day, and was really impressed. He said He never knew it was so organized. He said he remembered seeing it back in the day on " Wide World Of Sports" and back then he thought it was just a big beer Drinking bar sport! This time it changed his whole opinion on it! Its cool that Everyone at work and at home, know who Mike,Ron,Travis, and Todd are! Where are the trading cards! Awesome!
