There’s a poll on the Canadian message board asking who will win the 3 out of 5 right-handed supermatch between Devon and Travis at The Mike Gould Classic on March 26th. Devon has been receiving most votes, but I am wondering how users of this board feel. In Canada, Devon has been pretty much unbeatable in right-hand tournament competition over the past few years. On the other hand, Travis’ right has been getting frighteningly powerful – his performance at the Arnold’s is a great example. What do others think? The Mike Gould Classic is shaping up to be a HUGE event. It’s Canada’s best tournament every year. It has everything going for it – BIG money in the pro classes ($1,000 per class, right and left), amateur classes, plus you never know who will show up! Here’s a link to the event information: p079.ezboard.com/fcanadianarmwrestlingfederationfrm7.showMessage?topicID=216.topic

What does Devon weigh now. I think he would need to be a solid 240 to have a shot at beating Travis

Devon will be 220 for the tournament. I should add that his record against Travis is 1 and 0 in the right (Niagara Falls, December 2002).

Tough Call. Left handed I take Travis. Right handed, in a slow match I take Devin, in a quick match I take travis.

Travis is not the same armwrestler that he was in 2002. Hell he is not the same as 2003 or 2004. Does Devon hook or pull outside? ;D

Leonard, check out Pulling John.com, He prefers to hook, and does it well.

I still think he will be too light at 220. I think Travis right now could be ready for Voevoda righty .. Just my opinion

Well this is a tough call, but Devon for sure if it goes to a Hook! There are a few pullers that can beat Travis in a Hook, But To Travis's Credit..They dont get him there! Can Devon handle his speed? I think so, but again Travis is on a roll. This would be a Great win for either man! John puposely went into a hook with devon after winning the first match handily, then when he tried to put Devon away...We all saw his power in a hook! Travis just suprises and frustrates most but Devon is way to cool and he will not give in to this. It will be Good!! I say ...someone wins here, then John whups them Both....

IF the question is IF
When Travis is involved you dont want to have any IF'S because the IF will turn it to but I could have beat him IF I turned him in.
That's right Travis is my boy call me an ass kisser I dont care my money is allways on him. I will be there to see him kick some ass. Canada here we come.

i was in niagara falls and saw that match.Devon s a very good armwrestler and a very friendly man.as far as i have seen Travis beat him very quick but ref didnt call it a pin.then Devon beat him.right now i would bet on Travis for a very quick match.a great weight difference between two men.pound for pound Devon is much better.but now he doesnt have much of chance by weighing at least 40pounds less than Travis.
