Nope Josh just a FACT Travis is the best unless he is beaten by somebody. No matter who is saying what his ACTIONS proved it not someone elses statement. Dude this is so stupid. I already said that's fine if that's what you believe but that is NOT what Mr. Constantino said, he said nobody would say that Travis isn't the best lefty. It only takes ONE person to say he isn't to make the stamement on Ryan's false. Considering someone already said Cyplenkov is the best in the video of him and Artem training, and armpower.net has Cyplenkov ranked above Bagent, obviously more than one person will say that Travis is not the best. that is a FACT. |

Yeah but it's a fact he isn't by his actions. I wasn't saying the statement was fact im saying Travis is the best is fact because Denis hasn't beat him an Travis has beaten everyone.

Untill someone beats him more then one time Travis is the best. That Denis dude has proved nothing! Travis left is near Johns Right, so few losses, and even then by guys who are clearly better then everyone else, like Christian, who wacks everyone, but still has issues with Travis.
Even if someone is strong enough, Travis is very slick, or smart, or whatever you want to call it, and can win that way.
IMO Ryan has his hands full. Maybe he could get a win, but more then one will be almost impossible.

If only Georgi was there lefty in that 198 class. With that said, Dustin, I think if you have brought your hand, wrist and hit up to speed (no pun intended) you have a very good shot left-handed. The arm power has been there for some time.
With that said:
165 Right: Fisher
165 Left: Matt Harris
198 Right: Geez, you get the sense that on any given day at least 6 or 7 guys on this list could win this class. Judging by his inside power as of late, I am going with Vigeant (though with his speed, Silvers could still have a pretty fresh arm in the finals). If Rob hooks everyone he could very well be gassed in the finals, but he is an incredibly conditioned athlete.
198 Left: Hard to pick against Bowling, if he can maintain power at such a light weight.
242 Right: Flip a coin between Marcio and Ron Bath.
242 Left: Marcio
Supers Right: Travis (but if a heavier Michael Todd can stop him, and that is a big if, it could get interesting
Supers Left: Travis .

I was very tempted to pick Sonny Larson right handed as well. He looked like a Clydesdale at the Harley Pull.

Good picks and analysis, James. Only modification I would have is that I'm thinking Bath in the 242's righty. I'm just as pumped as everyone else about the 198's. I wanna see Bryan do well, that's for sure.

I agree that Travis should be ranked #1 until/unless he is beaten. But that doesn't mean that nobody will say that he isn't which was the entire point. |
