I wanted to let everyone know how much I have enjoyed becoming involved in the world of competitive Armwrestling, despite my relatively limited tournament experience. The members of this board and the people I have met in person, it has been a true pleasure. I am leaving in 17 days for R.I.P, Ranger Indoctrination Program, and I will not be back for a long time. I plan on continuing competitive armwrestling when I return, and seeing all of you once again.

Andrew,
Good luck... I dont know if most people will appreciate the distinction of being an army ranger. It is similar to Navy Seals but the army's version. Most people that are capable of graduating are successful their entire lives. they are the best of the best. Again best of luck. Armwrestling will be right here where you left it when you come back

Great news for you! Be ready! It will be the hardest and most fulfilling few weeks of your life! When I went through Airborne at Benning back in 1983 some of my best bud's were going to RIP. Back then it was in Ft Lewis Wa. (Beautiful place). When I got through the Q ,I was stationed there at Ft Lewis with the 1st group (A). Our unit was directly across the field from the RIP program. I hope you have been running!!! You will be going all day! Again, much respect and God speed to you!!!

oh boy. Good luck to you. I was on a flight crew so had to go through land and water survival school, as well as prisoner of war camp. Tough stuff. Just be tougher! Its all about mental strength! Best wishes.

Good luck to you Andrew. And good luck at becoming a Ranger. From what I hear, the training is brutal.

Andrew, congrats and good luck on your venture! I have a nephew who went through the very same thing. He entered to be in the top of top elite sector of the Rangers. Let's say this...It used to be easier to kick his butt than now!!! I may not even be able handle him now-a-days. He toured in Iraq and Samolia before settling in the State Department. Just so you know, WHEN you do survive this you will most likely have a set career in anything you want. Again, good luck!!!!
