As I recall from like 2 years ago when I was there, the Days Inn about 2 miles from the venue on the same road (Miracle Swamp Parkway) has reasonable rates for $99 a night....very reasonable for gulf front view all the hotels right next to the venue were nice but really really pricey.

Is there anyone who can give me some hotel/inn information around the competition place?? bring a tent and camp out on the swamps back door....  2 years ago...it was high.....hopefully motels are in a recession now......  wear shorts... T/K |

great news, one more Korean puller just told me that he will come to the U.S. for this tournament. This puller is 80kg but i'm seriously telling you guys...he is very very strong. 80 and 90kg American pullers should be well prepared. I'm very excited!!!!!!!! ;D ;D
So,
myself-70kg novice left only (i'm more likely a camera man, driver, translator, etc. ;D)
Korean puller-120kg pro
Korean puller-80kg and above pro

One more thing, I bragged them so much about this tournament, telling them "American pullers are way better stronger than you guys...and a lot of strong armwrestlers, including Ron Bath, will come to this one" So...please, if you have time, come to Florida and say hello to us. We really want to make as many friends as we can.

It was two years ago, i stayed at Okaloosa county jail, very pricey, poor beds, horrible veiw from windows, and coleslaw sandwitches for lunch. Best stay in florida! |
