Dan, I like Travis. I feel he has done more lately for me than I could have ever done for him and I would and have offered help to push this thing as far as we can. He is young. When he was sitting next to Willie M and John S and said Charles B had nothing on him in retrospect it could have been a mistake. He was sitting next to 2 millionaires who drink with the millionare he put below himself, Those guys are already where Travis is heading (Or wants to be as we all do) Charles B and him need to become allies! I'll bet Barkley knows people on the Olympic board and could help with a push. If he showed up at a Travis tournament who could he bring with him? Interesting thoughts. I think it is there with all the comparisons between Charle B and Travis being mentioned it is there for him to go take it. When Christian lost to Travis you could see the smile he gave him. That was class and respect and Travis showed it back. I think Dan was right when he suggested that Eric got what he was looking for. You don't get up with a guy who is the king of smack and get him riled up. You make him laugh and get him out of his game. I think if someone would get up against Travis and through some funny gesture get him to crack up you could beat him a lot easier than jumping right into the deep end of the pool. Travis is a great swimmer...one of the best

If you look at some of the Old Arm.TV stuff, not all the guys were happy about losing. I think theres more of a brotherhood now , but I am surprised there isn't the once in a while push and shove tech.

The Eric and Travis thing goes back to last year in Vegas...Watch the videos... I guess Eric had pent up anger for a year...You can get like that pulling Travis. ;D
I would imagine that I have had to put up with Travis' CR#P the longest. Again: he gets that way to get himself psyched up to pull someone who he feels "might" give him trouble. Does he go over board when the cameras are on? YES
Since the 50th...LOL.showing of me getting my A## handed to me on ESPN and now FSN, I have defended him to no end. Telling people that he is a GREAT guy, and that he really isn't like that, but thats just his way to get psyched. AND HE IS A GREAT GUY...If he wasn't I wouldn't be friends with him.
Travis is probably the BIGGEST reason that armwrestling is getting its recognition in the last 2 years.
OH and he did GREAT on the BDSSP interview...He was himself, yet humble!
GUY: Who in NY, NJ, COL and WVA are on "on"? To print that you must know... Come on .....name names!!!!!!!

Shame on me but it really got my adrenaline pumping when it looked like eric almost punched Travis. That wouldnt have been a very sportsman type thing.

Even though the consensus is of Eric not displaying respect after the match with he and Travis, I have to say he (Eric) may have been doing what a lot of people have wanted to do to Travis. Travis is a great guy! He will take the time with everyone he encounters. His antics are to be taken as stage acts and motivation...nothing else.

I don't think armwrestling should or needs to go the way of WWF to be entertaining, but people should be heard in their own voice and their personality should show through loud and clear on how they feel at that moment in time. I don't take anything Travis says personally during a tournament. You are the enemy to him when you step up to the table or enter his class you are trying to take something away from him that he feels is his use his energy against him. Ignore it or let it build inside of you… what ever works. Everyone should develop a signature approach and departure from the table…Travis has it…If he beats you he lets the whole world know it and shouts you back into the corner you came from …he respects you for stepping up against him, but that is going to be his way. Learn to live with it. If you beat him he does the arms up and wide and gives you a big bow and smile…this is great stuff. I would hope everyone would just be themselves and not be afraid of being politically correct. His actions fuel the desire in many to prove him wrong which is good. We all love to hate the bad guy and it fuels many including me to get better. On the other hand I hope he doesn't create a bunch of actors trying to emulate him …this is when it will look silly and get out of control WWF style.
Yes I and the refs could do with out the comments on how there is special treatment. This isn't good for anyone … And as far as the calls during Todd and I. Everyone should learn to take the good with the bad. I hate to rely on the refs for anything. I truly believe the refs do the best job they can… they don't have slow motion, and there is a lot of stuff going on everyone understands this… learn to live with it. Good with the Bad…..although there was NO WAY I touched KEITH…..what are you thinking…..Just kidding buddy. Great job Todd….I would have loved to continue then and there but there is always next time.

When I watched the show I kept asking myself what do I like? What don't I like? What was inspirational or motivational, and what was uncomfortable. What was unneeded filler and what drew my attention in.
Who liked the intro to the show? Someone did a good job on that it got me excited and inspired me to lift something before the show even started….. Then things slowed down with the rules…do we need to educate when they are so damn boring. I found any shot that lasted more than about 10 seconds without a visual or audio cut away to something else caused me to loose interest even if it was in the middle of a hard fought match or set up. I would have loved to hear more about what the competitors think about themselves their opponents or the audiences take on the outcome of certain matches coming up or going on.
We don't need WWF, but we do need some more Hollywood flair to inspire the young and old to get off their butts and feel the excitement that is Armwrestling.

I dont agree with the idea Travis should not imbrace the Charles Barkely connection. Even though it may be true it makes him seem like a copy cat, less real. The public is more likely to dissmiss him as a phony if he does not claim this is his personality not anyone he is trying to copy.He should not lose anyones support by taking that stance just gain their respect. I also agree with the fact we need to Know more about the arm wrestlers.I only get intrested in other sports when I find out about the drama or the sacrafice the person whent through to get were they are. I dont know all the rules to most of the sports I watch, but I do learn them as a contraversal call would come up and they would explain it.Before you know it you learned more about the rules. Again the viewer needs a vested intrest to care enough to listen. If we go by that rule we will continue to make a better and better show.

Guy: Spin it any way you want, you know what you meant. But one question: Why pick those states, and not others?
BTW: I'm not rolling my eyes from Jersey.
I'M ROLLING THEM FROM NEW YORK! Get it straight! ;D

i personally dont like the things that Travisdoes, but i mustconfess that ýts working.when i watched Travis on the tv i was so proud of him.he represanted our sport inthe best way,and probably much better than anyone else could.
i also dont believe that he made 60 thousand dollars in last year byarmwrestling, but even if it wasnt truth i still think that hedid a greatjob by lying(i may be wrong, maybe he really made 60 thousand).i wish he said he made 200 thousand dollars, because i dont want ppl to humiliate us by seing that we are trying for nothing.yes unfortunately the best money was giving in vegas and it was 1500dollars for the first place.dont get me wrong,im very gradeful for thevegas tournament, and it was a great step for our sport.
Simon, between all these senseless arguments i forgot to thank you for your great work in our sport.you deserve more than we can pay.thanks a lot my friend, also thanks to Christopher for the idea.
