There is a supermatch set up it had nort really been annouced yet but Matt will pull and beat Voevoda in a best of 7 in next coming months. whatever country it is I will be there supporting my boy Matt Girdner and on a seperate note Matt is not bothered by all the showboating in fact it pumps him up to do better Matt worries about his conduct other people should just worry about their own

I must say too, that Matt was a class act! I loved it when he said "this is still my house!"  He certainly didn't receive the recognition that he deserved. Way to go, Matt! |

Thanks alot guys and gals ! I was beginning to think that I was dreaming that I won in vegas , and that it didnt really happen . In hind sight I do wish that I pulled Travis and didnt take the win be defaut . But at the time , I took the win....life goes on ! I didnt get to see what is being called , " unsportsman-like " from Travis. When at a big tourney I am in my own world. For the longest time when I was on the hunt for Travis all I kept hearing was , " dont let Travis get in your head , he likes to yell and scream , jump around...yadda yadda yadda " . He doesnt get in my head . He gets in my heart and my soul and sets them on fire ! Not because I dislike the guy ( I do like Travis )but rather I feed on his energy, and man does he have alot of it !! The first time I pulled Travis was in L.A. , I was so nervous and worked up , I threw up. Not to mention having to pull John B in the challenge match ! I only see how Travis acts afterwards when I watch the tapes. I dont neccesarily agree with how he presents himself at times but it is not my place to pass judgement on the guy . He is a grown man and mature enough to make his own decisions , and thus face any consequences. I hope that he does not get " Banned " Even though he is my biggest advarsary , and he could turn the tables and start dominating me ( not ! ) at any time. He bring a tremendous amount of energy to the sport. Hell we all have said and done some things that we regret afterwards . If my voice carries any merit , I say let him stay. O.K. now , when the hell did i eat hot dogs on Fremont St. ? I am working on setting up a race between me and the boys from the East coast on the electric scooters ! IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG !!! And yes IT IS STILL ON !! ( no sleeping ) The challenge match between Alexy and I is postponed. He is having knee surgery in May and Igor is not sure if he will be ready by August. So his defeat will have to wait until further notice. Guy thanks for the kind words. |
