Troy S. should be moving up the 154 left hand list with his very nice wins over James R.

We do have a new king of the 54's left handed.... very nicely done Troy! Also a new king of the 198's left... congrats to Remus! He beat Razor convincingly left handed and it was before Razor wore himself down from pulling 242's and super left. I have made updates to every class and have taken inactive people off as well as people who have changed weight classes. All new rankings can be viewed here (I didn't change the rankings on this site yet): sites.google.com/site/mnarmwrestling/midwest-rankings-1

how long do you sit in the rankings if your not active? Also can you move up in rankings without being at some recent events?

How in the shyt did that happen? I am 2-0 against Troy. 7-4 against Ethan, but losing the last 3 matches ( supermatch)... Troy gets bumped to number one..Ethan and I remain...Way off. here is how this should look.. top 3 only:
1.) Ethan Fristche
2.) Troy Stuhan
3.) James Runyon
Take me off of here until I come back firstly.. I do not deserve a spot in any ranking when I have been inactive for 5 months, and have no ability to return anytime soon. Plus when I do, it will be back at 176 where I belong. ut Ethan where he belongs.. Number ONE... Anyone thinks otherwise is kidding themselves...Troy beating Runyon twice is a great accomplishment... Just not nearly as productive as what Ethan has done in the last 5 months. 3 supermatches..ZERO losses... Hard to compete with..

I agree with Robert... Troy only started training for AW last summer and is progressing quickly. James was ranked #1 and Troy specifically went to Blue Chips Casino just to beat James... not only did he beat him, he beat him convincingly. James, as you know, was ranked at #1 because he got a win on Rick Soliwada at the Harley Pull, and Rick is ranked #1 in the USA! Ethan is a strong dude and is whooping ass in all his supermatches at toproll... at 165 lbs. This is the same reason I did not rank Ethan above you at 154 when he beat you at 165 in January. Can Ethan beat Troy at 154... I personally wouldn't be surprised either way, however, Troy just beat the guy who was ranked at #1 and so he deserves the spot until proven otherwise. Maybe Ethan can beat James Runyon as well, as the time I made the rankings I did not think so so I put Ethan below him and now he needs to beat him to be placed ahead of him. I will remove you from the rankings until you return and beat a ranked puller. Shane, looks like you answered your own question. but you must be inactive you 1 year to be removed from the rankings, or if someone tells me they are not training anymore or their teammates tell me, I will take them off. Mike, I could most likely set you up with Jim Larson at my tournament in St. Paul on June 26th if you'd like. Let me know and I will talk to Jim. I do appreciate the feedback.

Plaster You are right it was 2 - 0 I will also add that i think Troy will end up being one of the top in the country before long but he is a unknown who just now is pulling outside of Mich LH He now has training partners so he is slowly getting stronger and stronger with more tech

Josh, just some info you might need for the 154 rankings right hand. I have never lost to 8,9 or 10. And have a few wins over Marvin but he has more on me.

I really didn't want to take you off Al... it is my personal opinion that you can beat the 5th place guy (Heath) if you get a great start, and I would love to see you pull the 4th place guy (Josh Wickre) who has flashed me 4 out of the 5 times I have pulled him (the other time I stopped him right above the pad and brought him back - 0-176 lbs was the weight class). The reason you were bumped off is, because of the way I do my rankings, here was 6-10:
6. Totraz Tomaev 7. Frank Walkuski 8. Marvin Berry 9. Alan Berget 10. James Runyon
I took Totraz off since he has not been inactive... which would put you at 8th. However Troy Stuhan beat you right handed at the Midwest Challenge... so he was 8th and you 9th still, but then Runyon beat Troy's right at Blue Chips Casino... he lost to Drew and Eric (ranked 8th and 9th right now) Joel (10th) got a win on Eric (9th) first match of the day... From this I concluded that Drew, Eric, and Joel > James Runyon > Troy > you (since he beat you) although styles make match-ups and maybe Troy (with his strong hand) is just a bad match-up for you. I do think that on any given day you could beat pullers 4-10 on my list @154 lbs.

You are right that styles make match ups. Just thought I would give you a little more info to help. I think it is great that you take the time to study tournaments and put this together. All I can tell you is that I am 7-0 with Drew, 2-0 with Eric, only 1-0 with joel, 7-0 with James, 3-1 with Troy and 4-8 with Marvin.

I am sure he is stronger now.. I am not.. But I sucked then too.. I was 2 days removed from a supermatch with Ethan and a week prior to finding out what was wrong with my right hand/arm. That said, I believe he has earned to sit there at 2 spot. I can in no way shape or form condone him being placed above Ethan, The toproll Champion, the reigning National Champion and winner of three consecutive supermatches without one loss. I believe Troy is good and will be much much better in the future...But to be placed above Ethan, he needs to beat Ethan rather than skip over him due to this or that... JMO. I think this would be a great time for Woody to step in and set this match up for one of his events. Or who won the 54 left? Luke? Set Troy up with Luke then.. Winner gets Ethan..
