Okay I think I have the rankings accurate for now. Marvin, when have you beaten Frank this year? Twice at Ohio States in the Open Class as I saw on Armtv but when were the other 3? Just wondering.

So Mike Shelton beat the #1 guy last weekend, Roger Nowatske, right handed. This was in the 176 class. Mike pulled 154 (and won) and took 2nd in the 176 behind Ethan. Roger pulled 176 and 198 and took 3rd in 176, idk what place he took in 198.
Here's the 2 sides of the story
One side is Mike at 154 beat the #1 154 guy, Roger, and Roger was heavier than 154, making Mike's win even better and more creditable. From one guy I heard Mike beat Roger pretty easily and Roger told Mike that he couldn't match his power.
From another guy (who is friends with neither puller) I heard Roger had a war in the 98's before losing to Mike in the 76's. This guy told me that Roger didn't like the set up and thought Mike false started. The guy who told me this does not think Mike would beat Roger in a rematch.
Where should Mike be ranked? Should he be #1? He doesn't get out as much as some guys do but I can attest to his power. I am open to opinions on this one since have heard 2 sides of the story and was not at the tournament to make my own decision.

Mike is powerful.
Roger had a WAR in the 198's before that.
I cant help much because I dont get to see many of the 154's pull that often.
Mike is my boy, but I dont think you get the number one spot for one win over the number one guy double classed at a small tourney, JMHO.

its funny how he had a long match before 76s when every top roll tourney goes from low weight class to biggest so mike double class he pulled 54 than went again roger in 76s the way we did it was one match each weight class than went left hand so he might of had long match 98s than we would of ran through the left class after right hand was finished so he had plenty of time to heal just like everyone else.... he dont need to be ranked number one right now but its all good team adrenaline will show very soon at alot of other places especially arnolds classic so make sure roger u place and show

I'm thinking about trying to set up a 154 megamatch class in the spring, similar to what Jeff Ames does in Colorado, then we can find out who the best in the Midwest really is. invite only but all 54's in the Midwest would be invited. Please keep this in mind 54's!
