This class will be reformatted soon... looking at the right, Garratt, Shane, and Greg are heavy now, Mike Dawson inactive. Left, Eric, Shane, and Greg are heavy, Scott has been inactive as far as I know. I plan on having them off within the next month (unless they pull 176 before then).
I am willing to hear nominations for people who should be added to the rankings when those guys are removed... I do already have certain people in mind however... need to figure out which order I should put the guys I am thinking about adding though. I would like to hear some names thrown out though in case I am forgetting anybody.

Shawn D. should be much higher. He's the 2009 165# Unified Nat. Champ and I'm pretty sure he beat Robertas the one year at Blaine's tourny, not sure what the total record is between the two or even the most recent.

I ranked Shawn at 8th originally since he lost to Ethan Fritsche at 2009 Illinois States; Garrett Richardson crushed Ethan and Robertas easily beat Garrett in the 187's. Now Robertas was a little heavier than 176 there and maybe I ranked Shawn too low; yes he did win nationals but you gotta look at who he beat, he beat some strong guys for sure but nobody even close to the top 4 on this list imho. IIRC Shawn did win pretty easily at nationals though.

To repeat LOL: shawn has beat ro bertas before so if you're going to count a past loss you should count a past win too. Also; not sure about kyle and shawn at the tournies but in the practice I saw I can tell you shawn wins most of them and kyle beat ethan at toproll

You're right Josh but more recent victories mean more than past victories, but I will admit that when I made these rankings I was unaware than Shawn had win(s) on Robertas. I have since then watched it on Armtv more than once. You are actually the 3rd person who has brought this to my attention (the first person was Shawn at MO States, lol!). Kyle did beat Ethan but Ethan had his supermatch with Plaster before than and despite what Jeremy says about not having worn out Ethan in the least, any pulling wears you out some, some guys don't even warm up before tournaments because they want to save their energy. But Robertas is stronger than Ethan is, imho.

It's all good man, I was just bored on my break at work more than anything, otherwise I try to stay out of any rankings discussions. Hope to see you at an upcoming tourny!

I believe that Yosef beat Ethan leftie in MO May 18th. Might be wrong on this one. Ethan was weighing light I believe.

He beat him once but Ethan came back and beat him twice in the finals. I'd move Yosef up to one below Ethan for beating him once but Tony beat him twice last yr and paul won unifieds where yosef didnt place, and I am positive Yosef doesn't want to be ranked above them till he beats them.

You're doing a fine job josh. It's a hard job to do. It requires many hours of watching video after video. And it is still impossable to see them all. I myself am looking forward to pulling all the boys listed above me. Where they should be since I have not beaten or pulled them in the last couple years. Rob, you're a bully picking on us little guys lol. Can't wait to grab those big bear claws of yours again.
