I haven't experienced a fast hit before, but I have seen, many times, Craig Tullier take someone to the pad and back before they knew it. I am not talking about that person being some Joe Schmo either.
I also noticed Ray Jenkins in Destin do an impressive hit.

I would have to say Eric Guevin at my first canams back in '02 we were both posting high. The ref said go and he hit me with so much side pressure that i didnt have time to blink after the go because it was over. Also i would have to say Mike Selearis at the pittston tournament in '03. I was aware of his hand positioning so i would get a refs grip everytime. I first went against him left handed and i flashed him the first match. Well that never happened again. I think he was a bit pissed or didnt expect it. He then hit me so fast the next lefty match and both times i faced him right handed.

I know decker well he is a good friend of mine and I have tried to get him back in the sport but he has no interest in coming back,Thank God ;D,really I have challenged him but he has never shown up,for me it has to be chirs vanderbogart,or jermy derfy, not sure of the spelling but back then,97,98,I was a bit smaller, come to think of it ,Al Le'ger was the fastest and strongest,he beat decker at the world but decker beat him at the national and I beat Al 2 month before the world both were awesome, and they are missed.

This would be more like 'the fastest hit I never felt'...
I was across the table from Aaron Lengyel in Calgary a few years back (note -- I didn't say I was 'pulling' him!). Nice, comfy set up, no goofing around by either of us.... 'ready, go' and I pinned and back up to center before I could even react! Guess he wasn't fooling around when he was giving away about 20 pounds to me that day!?
Shawn Blurton from up North here is another man with a good hit - 'specially his left! I've only hung up his left twice, and it was strictly the 'tiger by the tail' trying to get into the match! A couple years back at our provincials he hit one fellow so hard and fast that he ripped the screws right out of the floor that held the table down -- almost put the table and his opponent right into the ground!!! Nasti!
Can't wait to make it to a US tournament to pull with some of the others mentioned here!
Cheers!

Hmm, I'm only a beginner so what can I say? I was up against Andreas Rundström, and I was thinking "He'll be nice, knowing I didn't stand a chance", but no, before the referee was halfway through the "G" in "GO!" my hand was halfway through the pad! Holy Malony, what happend?
Do you want to see a fast swedish pin? Look here on Charlie Minell, to fast for the referee!
