The first match is the only one that matters in that respect and obviously as John Vs Devon would be the Headline Supermatch they would therefore DEFINATELY meet in the first round IF the show were to be conducted in any type of Battleground format.

Winners through to the Critical Coundown phase........

On the oposite side of the Draw

Saw Ryan Clark at Harley Pull last year & he was involved in ARM WARS "ISLAND LAW" & is gonna be in 4 Shows around Europe between April & July this year.

I'm a BIG Jake Smith Fan & would like to get him involved in London (May) or Manchester (July) this year...............

I like the battleground idea !! I think it's a lot better than them 6 round matches ... and i also like the charackter approach, because it opens an more emotionely viewing. My question is, will there be little interviews before the matches ?? I think interviews are as important as the matches itselves. You like to watch it a lot more, if you know the person who is pulling, so you can pick your favourite and identifie with him. just the stats aren't enough.
I like the old ESPN shows, i think they were made very well !!

By a 4 or 8 man battle ground, do you mean they will all be competing against each other and winner takes all? I love the match ups but, think they should be separate supermatches. If that isn't already the idea...
I also appreciate mega supermatches held at WAF which gives so many of us the chance to see them in person!

Hi Felix,

I think you must be a little behind with the Shows mate as we already have interviews in place right now (since Trafford Centre), before after and in many cases during the match itself. The initial restriction was due to concerns about the Multi Language requirement however all interviews are either in English or some (10% or so with subtitles).

The athletes are also mic'ed up throughout and you can hear their comments between rounds.

"Battleground" is still Six Round Supermatches also its simply a progressive knock out format with winners of matches progressing.

Hi Brent, the matches are show in totally separate Shows with the story of the events progression being a concern for the live show rather than the TV as IF the match is poor / boring, chances are it won't make the show. Due to the matchmaking few ever are boring our success rate is around 90% right now in terms of making WARS ;D

The idea behind ARM WARS at the end of WAF is precisely that mate, it gives everyone a chance to experience the event LIVE up close and personnal

I really hope that this match comes off too mate Gary coming back into the sport would be GREAT particularly IF he can regain his old level as the man was a Force in the mid 90's.

John Brzenk is out of the event in London & for the forseeable future potentially pending back surgery and that in itself is a concern. CREDIBLE opponents for John, Devon, Travis, Denis C, etc. are few its hard to get these guys drawn into really hardcore Battles as few men can make them work hard enough to do so

John Vs Devon II & Travis Vs Gary are in some ways subject to a huge amount of variables.............its sometimes a coin toss and Gary is largely an unknown quantity to me right now.

If Travis is at his best he is in my opinion one of the most Dangerous opponents for ANYONE in the sport right now (I don't mean that Skinny Dude that was posing as Travis in Istanbul ;D ;D) I mean that Big Blown Up horrible B*stard that used to fly all over the World F8cking Up Shows and occasionally Armwrestling in them.......THAT TRAVIS..........he was Evil.............BUT HE WAS EVIL
