I gotta agree that didn't look like a pin to me. None the less he still whacked devon over there though.

It wasn't a pin but doesn't take away about how impressive Don is. Had that not been called I think Devon would have pulled back. Seemed to me he should've grabbed low and straight ARM it back...haha Good job Don!!! Maybe people will start giving you some respect. He pulls a lot like Travis...BIG HIT. You gotta stop the hit to have a chance.

I think (don't flame..just my opinion) from watching the canadian tournaments vs americans is that the canadians call so many fouls that it prevents a lot of them from hitting well and end up slow pulling. Devon i don't think is used to the BIG HITS.

even if it was not a pin that called a pin, he still only ended up third and Don won it. So if one match he did not get a break, he still lost a second time and Don did not.

That was a terrible call. I agree with the Canadians, from what I saw it was a very bad call by Jim. Don got the win, but he did not beat Devon. But in Don's defense. How many times has Don clearly won a match and because of bad calls, the win is awarded to his opponents? We reap bad calls at times, and we reap the benefits of a bad call. Don is reaping the good of the bad now. Never the less, Great job Woody ;or is that speedy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ;D Thats Arm wrestling!!!!

Is it all possible it was a parallel pin? Maybe because of the camara angle it dosent look like it?

it can be a parellel pin if your hand is not somewhere above the pad but inner side of the table ..or when you have a short arm (like Devon has ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) ) and it can become parellel without touching the pad.Devon's hand was above the pad and would have touched to pad if it was moved down about an inch or half more..the truth is that when the camera is angled from lower,it more looks close to the pad than when it is a parellel view. i just took the picture of the closest moment of his wrist to the pad.it is from the down angle but still is above the pad,if the camera was higher angled (at parellel height) then it would look even higher than how it looks from this angle.

bottom line is that in big tournaments you take the wins as they are called to move ahead in the bracket expending the least amount of endurance as possible to save it for the long haul. And everyone has been on the losing end and the winning end of a "JUDGEMENT CALL"

Alan,i dont know about the others but i an not discussing about Don winning the event or not.i probably have lost matches because of the wrong desicions and i probably have won matches because of the wrong desicions as well.my only argument is that if this wrong desicion was not made and Devon would have won the match, now no one would be saying that Don was the better puller.he won the event and congratulations..but i will not say either of them was better till they meet again and someone wins without any discussion.i am not saying Devon was better either,so dont get me wrong.
