1. John Brzenk 2. Travis Bagent 3. Matt Girdner 4. Ron Bath 5. Marcio Barboza 6. David Randal 7. Devon Larratt 8. Eric Woelfel 9. Cleve Dean 10. Todd Hutchings 11. Sylvain Perron 12. Brian Brandon 13. Tim Bresnan
14. Earl Wilson
15. Harold Owens 16. Len Houghton 17. Kevin Bongard 18. Mike Selearis 19. Michael Todd 20. Tom Nelson
I would really like to know who the people were that came up with this list. Todd Hutchings get second place in the 198 pound class and gets tenth in North America? How does makes sense is beyond me. Michael Todd is number 19? What were they smoking? How about this, Mike Selearis is below Kevin Bongard on the big list, but he is above him in his weight class. I don't get it. If someone has any insight on how this came to be, please enlighten me.

I guess the best in North America starts at 189! BS list...total garbage! They should have a pound for pound list on who dominates their class not just 189+.
Most of us 25 and 38's pull 54's and still win! Case in point Rivas... Ruiz...Moore..(Both of them). Jenkins...

Wow... that list is pretty innacurate. There are a lot of guys who deserve / don't deserve to be on there.

Hey Chris, I hate to break it to ya, but the general public doesn't want to see a bunch of smaller individuals go at it.
They got plenty of that in school when they used to break pencils with each other in class!!!!
I just think, in my opinion, that two guys armwrestling, that weigh a total of 250, really won't get people excited as would two guys that each weigh 200 to 250. No disrespect, but to watch two guys that resemble children, just isn't that appealing. The spectator will probably sit there and wait for something to "POP".
If you want your respect, than do what some of your predecessors did and gain a little weight and get in there with some of these bigger guys. I personally remember watching Gabe Arcardi ( Who weighs 154lbs ) giving Jerry Cadorette ( Who must have weighed at least 280 ) an absolute fit on the table. He lost, but he got his respect as an armwrestler.
Food for thought!!!

If the two of you went to the beach Coletti, people would mistake you for his snack. Right now I think you are the only armwrestler in the country that could fit into a hotdog bun. LOL I agree with both of you...sort of. Pete is right about the general public not wanting to watch smaller guys pull. But Fox missed the boat by not showing the 154 class in Vegas. The list of guys in that class was legendary. I would have preferred to watch many of the matches in that class than some of the others that were shown. Living in the northeast, I've watched Gabe, Mike Shalhoub, Norm Devio, Marc Gaeta and even Brian Shea pull some big name heavier pullers and beat them in overalls and such and I think Mike Shalhoub's style has influenced mine more than anyone I have seen. Unfortunately, America has a love affair with what is big (supersize everything), the biggest, the strongest, the most expensive etc... We are a country of extremes when it comes to sports and popular culture. There is a love affair with being #1 in this country if you hadn't noticed. The subtleties, style, grace and technique of some of the smaller pullers don't get recognized. It is all unfortunate and to that end I agree with you. But I still think you are dissolving.

Just an observation- no one has yet placed Kenny Hughes on this list. What I saw of him in Vegas was amazing. The list goes on and on, but I understand the narrowing of the names somewhat. Pete, can you get my lolipop back from James, he stole it when I was eating my green peas.

Chris, even though I agree with you, the guys are right when they say there isn't an attraction for smaller people. I do think, however, if you guys dress in masks and do the crazy flips and twists before coming to the table (like the Luchadors[sp] or Ray Mysterio did/does), you would have a better chance of spectator involvement

Tyler: Thank you for including me, BUT its a RIGHTY ONLY list.....
Paul Walther wins 2 National Titles and no mention...There are people on the list that he has beaten......Well maybe when he wins 2 more titles at the Unifiedsthis year, he MIGHT then get a mention..
Who are the experts on the list now?
Yeah I know he is my training partner. BUT still.
REMEMBER its not an all-time list.
