Welp, the Weather Channel was wrong. They said no rain past 4 pm. It rained until 7:30, but it still didn't keep the pullers from showing up. The most we had at one time yesterday was 33 from 6 different states. And everybody said they would like to do it again. Ralphy, great idea and thanks to Val for bringing a birthday cake for Ralph and A.J. (or P.J. as it was spelled on the cake). Thanks to Steve Shoemaker for coming to a practice 4.5 hours from his home, for Duke, Klemba, and Timmy Bresnan for bringing tables. Thanks to Christian, Paul W, Angel Cosme, Shaun Freeman, Mike Selearis and Georgi G. for fighting traffic and to the guys from Mass and CT for making it out. One hell of a practice, the best I have ever been to.

Sorry Gare, no video. Maybe next time we will get video. I didn't even think of it because I was juggling a lot yesterday. We are planning to have another one later on this summer. Hopefully we can draw even more pullers. Cindy, I can't take credit for the idea, that was all Ralph. But with the response we got, we might make it a more regular thing. Hell, next time we might as well just get some brackets together and throw a damn tournament.

It was a great time. I think it was more a shared idea between me and James back when we were garage pullers. It was great to see everyone there. I hope we can do it again soon and that we dont have any rain. ps. THANKS VAL FOR THE AWESOME CAKE...it would have been nice to take some home though....James....just kidding buddy.

Velery Bech (say that 10 times fast) I tried to stay out of AJ's way. Agressive for a young lad. His challenge seemed more daunting than Todd Opitz on steroids. Oh, wait he is on steroids. As for the cake thing, Christian looked hungry. They even left early so he and Paul could get some food. I thought I would do the right thing and offer him some comestibles prior to his trek. Besides the cake was well within the guidelines of the 10-second rule.

James: We wouldn't have left early ( 9:45 pm), if you didn't knock the damn cake over. Plus Paul needed his beauty sleep.
Had a GREAT time.....
Joe Milano is a BEAST!
