July 2, 2005 The New York Armwrestling has announced today that New York City's King of Arms Mamuka Pajishvilli from Brooklyn will take on all Pro Challengers at The Bronxboro XXIII Championships at Orchard Beach, Bronx, NY. Saturday, July 2, 2005 AT 12:30 PM The NYAWA will pay $300 Cash if anyone will challenge and beat him in the double elimination (Pick of the Draw) LAST MAN STANDING 'OPEN' Right Hand contest. He is fast and he is strong, but he is beatable,I stoped his hit but he reacted to fas t for me to do anything and layed on my arm,this was 3 years ago also,I am much stronger now,but I am pretty sure he is to,I have heard he is unstopable. $50.00 is B.S but what can you do,just grip and rip.....

I would have to agree with that. Mamuka took Marcio's wrist at the Intrepid a few years ago but Marcio slipped and beat him fairly easily in the straps. HINT HINT

Yes, Travis is coming to put up $50 to win $250......LOL
I like the pick of the draw thing...Lets just say, if Gene gets 10 guys in the Challenge match and you pick 10th, But the #2 guy beats Mamuka, does that mean you are out of $50(pre registration)? YES!!!!! And Gene pockets $700......NICE!
I think I'm going to hold one of these tourneys! I'll have my guy take a dive in the 1st or 2nd match and split the money 50-50 with him!

and if you noticed, read the fine print.......it's like a mini tourney cause pullers will be randomly chosen to pull him........i guess gene is going to say he has to break even because of the fact that he is going to pay the winner 500........and has to use the rest of the money to fly mamuka out to the us and give him a place to live for this HUGE tounrament....and you have to beat him twice.....so not only do you have to randomly get picked to beat him once......you can beat him once.......and not even get picked to beat him again cause if someone beats him after you , he's eliminated

btw, when Gene use to charge for his tounrmanets.......it was because he couldn't get a sponser.........NOW he has a year round sponser and charges for his tournaments...........yes, i wouldn't mind paying for a tounrament if it was awesom competition and sweet awards, but a certain puller that will remain nameless told me how he went to the last tournament, the Staten Island one and he got a medal that was spray painted and a certificate that wasn't even thick but regular paper, if your going to charge all of this money and have a sponser at least get some damn tropheys, GOSH!
