Rob has got better genetics for this sport than anyone I have ever met. He has the biggest hand of anyone under 200 pounds, arguably the strongest hands in the world and an incredibly powerful bicep. I predict that he will place top 3 at 198 at nationals this year before going up in weight to be one of the best pullers in the history of the sport. He has mashed the #4 fairly easily and can do one arm pull ups from a 2 1/2 inch handle dangling from a ceiling after pulling for 2 hours. Yes I am a big fan.

Rob has got better genetics for this sport than anyone I have ever met. I thought the exact same thing the first time I gripped up with him in Aug '04. He was born to armwrestle. And yes, I also have seen him do one-arm pullups with ease. And he only has around one-year into this sport.

Having trained with rob numerous times i can tell you that james has hit the nail right on the head.
Rob's power and strength are incredible as soon as he has more experience and fully knows how to use his power he will be very very hard to beat in the near future.
I as well am a fan and look forward to watching him progress and also training with him in the future..... ;D

One arm pull ups is one thing. I was able to do 3 with my right when I weighed 165. But to do them at 200+ pounds on a revolving handle of more than two inches. JEESH On a side note (to bust Tim's balls) if you have a tournament on Friday night in Vermont, you do not armwrestle for hours on Thursday night.

Last August Rob came to and won our Addison Fair tournament. That tournament usually has on average 20 guys in each class. 1/2 are pros, 1/2 are bull like farm boys. afterward I asked him how long he had been comptting etc, and he said it was his first tournament.... my jaw hit the ground- wow imagine what he will be like next year???
