Sorry but this is silly to me, the rankings were easy .....find the guy who has your spot and beat him, if someone is number one who you can beat easy then you should be happy cause it's only a matter of time ....right?
The problem with dropping people who lose to lower ranked people is that it's near impossible to move up without beating everyone on the list, if chad is ranked number one and Tulliet beats him Tulliet should be number one, not move up a couple and chad move down a couple, this is not college football and the opportunity to get a spot is as easy as setting up a match and winning, don't complicate it guys, there is reason why people are where they are, other wise I suggest you start over every month and vote new and ........that sounds like a lot of work.......guess work jmo

Well David sounds right plane an simple.... The problem is the people doing the rankings!! Take James W. for example he should be ranked higher than he is BUT the outher guy must have been sleeping so he didnt get his spot. Thats a pile of sh-t he should not have been sleeping..Then me Larry drove to TN. an beat me he should take my spot.. Pretty plane an simple if u want someones spot go take it. No i don't want to do the rankings but how hard could it be if u beat someone u take there spot. In my OP. everybody knowes whos the best in there weight class DEVON, TIM B, MICHEAL T, JERRY C. could go on but u get the point. So as for rankings they dont really matter to me because i know who the best is an everyone has got a lot of work to do to get to the ELITE level..

MY POINT EXACTLY it used to be you beat someone you take their spot the people complained because it was too easy to jump over people, now its more variables and who might have had a tuff match earlier....my opinion if you put your arm on the table your rank is at stake, if you are worried about losing after you pulled a supermatch then dont pull the tournament ! but lets not put all the blame on the people doing the rankings since they are just trying to please everyone and when it comes to rankings that is never possible, styles make matches and one guy can throw a fork in everything because he has kryptonite for the number one guy but loses to number 3 4 and 5, rankings are ALWAYS, ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, thats why we chase them isnt it fellas to TRY AND CHANGE THEM! go back to the simple stuff TK It made sence, if people want spots bad enough they will go get them!

I am new to this sport. But i have to ask this.... if you are crying about getting jumped by someone who was below you because they beat somebody above you, then i think thats BS. These rankings are gonna jump around more than any other sport. It is just the nature of the game it seems. The guys doing the most traveling and the most pulling are gonna have the best oppurtunities to move up. If you cant travel but to just a couple tournaments.... make it a good one that is gonna have someone (or a couple) of ranked guys so you have a chance to move up. I am with you david.... i think it should be kept simple....if nothing else for the guys like TK that are keeping up with it.

Tennessee rankings are done entirely off win/loss to make it easier. Theyre are flaws to it, because a better puller may be ranked lower sometime or another because he had a bad tournament. But if he got beat that day, then he wasnt the better puller, ON THAT DAY. Supermatches supercede tournament losses right now. But i kinda agree w dave, if you put ur arm on the table your ranking should be at stake. Jmo

Ive said it a hundred times who beat who is the best standard to go by. Ive had people get ahead of me on the sole reason on them beating someone good then getting tired from pulling multiple peaople in a class and a supermatch. What did i do? Hunt them down and get my spot back. In this situation that im currently in im lucky. Larry is ahead of me and should be right handed. So i wont have far to go to get my spot back IF i can beat him.

IT IS SIMPLE. let's go back to last year. Paul Walther loses one match to chuck HoffMAN AT Regionals? (after he pulled 3 1 minute long matches with Portillo) then I beat Hoffman, then Benoit beat me and so on.... well Paul wound up at #17 before it was over with. plain and simple Paul is not #17 in any class. so' with that said there should be some discussion on movement and pullers who have not lost shouldn't be kicked backwards? I'll be the first one to tell you I shouldn't be top 5 lefty in the SEC, but I whipped Alexie who whipped some other guys who were ahead of us both...so there you go. but if everyone feels so passionate about it? then i'll just leave the committee out of the equation and the pullers and state reps just give me THIER LAST WINS ...DATE AND TIME IT HAPPENED..... BUT i PROMISE YOU THE WHINING WILL GET MUCH WORSE WHEN A GUY GETS LUCKY AND SCORES THAT ONE WIN AND SENDS THE RANKINGS INTO A TAIL SPIN.... I DON'T WANNA HEAR ANY COMPLAINING ABOUT IT. POINT BLANK. I REALLY GET TIRED OF TRYING TO KEEP A REALISTIC RANKINGS ON HERE AND IT'S NOT APPRECIATED..IT JUST GET FOLLOWED BY COMPLAINING..... SO...I'LL ADJUST THE LAST WINS WHO BEAT WHO......... ANY COMPLAINTS AFTER THIS CAN GO TO MY SECETARY..HER NAME IS HELEN WATE. T/K

T/K This is where the format plays a huge part in it, First Paul did lose to chuck Hoffman right so there is no situation where he did not lose Problem is the format where we run one weight class down to the final four without giving real rest time gives lots of opportunity for these type of ranking errors to occur, if people ran classes the way usaa (for instance, I know others as well) runs them where you run one round of the bracket then switch to a new weight class starting with the most stacked classes then these errors will be way fewer and farther between because a war you have ten minutes ago makes way less of a different than one you had 1 or 2 minutes ago, Now I understand why people run classes down before moving on, it's easier on the score keeper, some pullers prefer it because they don't like the wait in between matches but it is not the best format when rankings are concerned, just something to think about
