Well this should just help you to update that list so if Jacob Hale comes to your tournament you can make an informed desision on weather or not he can pull novice I looked through your sight, I love the layout but cant find the page you are talking about The first time I ever saw an armwrestling table was 9 months ago. Ive pulled in 5 tourneys total, all of which I pulled novice and the last 3 I pulled in the pro classes as well. The only reason I pulled Novice to begin with was for experience in how NOT to break my arm. I still do not feel 100% confident in what I am doing at the table but I made the decision after the Show of Champions that the SEC would be my last novice event. Can't wait to get you and Shan practicing with us! TK

The only differance between a amatuer and a pro in any sport..is your competition!!!!!!!!...simple you pull novice you are a novice...you pull pro,you a pro! if you never win a pro class do u get demoted?...lets hear it Davey!!!...and when you pull me???...well NOW you have something to tell yo grandkids about.

Tendons dont get weaker and the majority of armwrestling is tendon strength so I dont care how long you go away you dont come back novice I will use myself as an exp here, in 08 I came back after 7 year layoff, my left always sucked so I thought I will pull novice left and open right, I pretty much dominated the class except for 1 loss on fouls, so I was a little displeased with myself for pulling the class, I took a trophy away from someone which I did not need. now the other thing you mentioned maybe without realizing it Amatuer - this is the seriously grey area where guys who are in the transitional phase should be pulling, unfortunatly it is not offered very often with the novice and pro, normally is Amatuer-pro, or novice-open. It would be great if the sport had enough pullers to feed all three classes, and at some larger events they do.....really I think amatuer tournaments could/should be held away from the others because most armwrestlers probably reside in this catagory, USAA rule is you can pull amatuer until you have beaten a recognized pro leaving this open to quite a large number of pullers

Ive actually got two available, but i read someone say one time.....you are defined by who you pull....if you pull novice, then ur a novice....if u pull pro, then ur a pro. I know if you get into the details of novice/pro stuff it may not apply, but im sticking to opens from here on out. I may not be a very good pro, but im still gonna be there & take my lumps. Ill do ok once i gets back down to 98's or below
