The biggest problem with peoples view, particularly Christians, of the end times comes from the Dispensational view of the last days or the end times. As a system, dispensationalism is rooted in the writings of John Nelson Darby (1800–1882). The sad part is most people don't have a clue to the history behind that view. I know having not only believing it, but also teaching it for years. part of the history you may be familiar with is Tim LaHaye's book called, "The Late Great Planet Earth." Also the Left Behind series, not to mention the movie. Dr. William Hendriksen was a very well known Bible commentator who's writings have grown in popularity over the years. He held degrees from Calvin College (A.B.), Calvin Seminary (Th.B. and Th.M.), and Princeton Theological Seminary (Th.D.).

And absolutely nothing. No big earthquake anywheres on the earth. Largest one I seen was a mag 5 and there was a couple in different places. Nothing out of the normal whatsoever. That whole comet thing is a freaking joke.

That whole comet thing is a freaking joke. So long as you're not a bald headed cult member sporting Reeboks. Then comets are bad news all around. You might have to be 35 to get that joke.

how do you sort out all the bull from what is fact when dealing with outer space but i have a bad feeling about this Nibiru thing It's not outer space that is less then factual, it's the internet.. Don't get nervous Robert no x, or nibiru or mayans, or aliens, or planet alignment gravity destruction is coming... I'd be more worried about a wardrobe malfunction with Chaz Bono on DWTS to tell you the truth i cant remember the last time i was nervous or afraid of anything under heaven its just interesting to me how the things of this world and the bible come together and i dont live according to my gut feeling but i do believe that things will happen just like it says in bible prophecy when that is idk but i do believe some christians will be offended when their troubles come and they are not raptured out before it comes i dont believe in aliens-----------demonic deception the mayans were into witchcraft-----------i wouldnt pay attention to what they were shown

the bible is full of prophecy that came true over Jesus years before his birth so there is no reason for me not to believe all its future prophecy in fact some things are already starting to begin like in Matt 24 or the way some countries are lined up together/allies the hatred of Israel is prophecy the Jews being brought back to their own land is prophecy even the fact that Turkey is the friend/allies with Iran against Israel is prophecy Christians being killed is prophecy--------like is going on in other places like Iran Christianty being preached everywhere is prophecy www.aclj.organother christian to be killed

I believe every prophecy in the bible, primarily because they all come true. The thing to remember is that they almost never happen the way we imagine them.
The prime examples are the prophecies concerning the Messiah. Christ was prophecied to conquer the enemies of God, which is exactly what happened. However, the Jews took this to mean a warrior king like David on a galactic scale. They rejected Jesus because he did not fit their preconceived notions. I can't blame them entirely because that is human nature. You can't very well have 2000 years of hindsight when you view today's events, which is the boat they were in. I also don't blame them because God said it would happen, Christ would be rejected by his own people. The jews of that day had a role to play in the grand scheme of things, just like Judas did.
I think we will know what has happened long after it has happened, or possibly because all of a sudden my fat booty is up in the clouds looking at Jesus. I hope it's like that, and I'm not up in the clouds because I'm riding a mushroom cloud. But in the end, the result is the same regardless of the mechanics God uses to fulfill the prophesy. No reason to fear, because his word is always good. Why worry?
