Mike I hit what 20+ events a year because I love this sport, I almost always pull multiple right handed classes because I love this sport, I train, help, and talk to any armwrestler out there, because I love this sport, I spend my time getting educated about what is going on in the politics of this sport because I love this sport, and I get involved in calling out the wrong doings in armwrestling because I love this sport.
Some anonymous AAA minion trying to do damage control on the AAA message board again made a comment about all of this bickering being the cause of why we are not in the Olympics or what people must think when they see this. Plain and simple this sport is plagued with self serving, greedy, bullies that try to impose their will on the pullers of this sport in order to retain operational control, And I Am quite sure those individuAls know full well whom I Deem to be Actively engaged in thiS despicable behavior. Like all bullies they find themselves a few loyal sheep and they use them to perpetrate their reign of forced subjection, and like all bullies they have to be stood up to.
I am not saying we would be in the Olympics without them, but I am saying that they are a huge part of why this sport is not further along than it is and if we take the approach of just putting your head down and pulling we are playing right into their hands, that is what they want, they don’t want us talking or thinking, certainly not asking questions. If we don’t stand up against that manipulation we might as well turn our pockets out to these people and lay down dead.

Simon, I did'nt have any intentions of my post , to question your love for this sport. I know that you love this sport. I was just stating in general, that I love this sport and just enjoy pulling and meeting new people that love this sport as well. I just wish that I could afford to go to more tournaments every year. I have actually been able to travel a little this year and pull. Unfortunately, with work and trying to get in the gym andworking side jobs to make extra money leaves me little time for anything else but my family whom I always put first . Take care , train hard and god bless! Michael "Animal" Griffin

I need to apologize to you Michael if you think any of what I am saying is directed to you, it is not, I have no doubts about your love for the sport and that your intentions in your posts are anything but genuine, it just happens to come against a post in my opinion that can be taken as a call to just let those that have been ruling continue to do as they will, regardless of what they do to the sport or anyone in it. I have a hard time believing that if we allow them to do so we will see a marketed improvement in this sport, things may change but at what cost and will it really become all that which we aspire it to be?
I hope we can share a table some day Mike it would be good to meet you, I wish you nothing but the best.
Simon

Simon, No apology needed bro! I know where you are coming from. Something does have to give if we are ever gonna excel in the worlds eyes and be taken seriously as an actual sport that I personaly think is way better than some of the sports I saw at the Olympics. Water polo, indoor kayaking, ect.....please! I know that I'm gonna keep on training hard and pull. I hope to meet you as well on day. You take care, train hard , and God bless!
