www.mayoclinic.com/health/trigger-finger/DS00155/ has anyone ever experienced this ? It's just on the middle fingers...on boths hands...I think I need to go see a doctor,and lay off the 2 inch grip,wrist curls.....and the finger holding excercises

If you do it will probably need surgery. My buddy had that, thats what he had to get done to fix it.

Josh...did your buddy fully recover hand strength after surgery?My hand is feeling like a beast too right now...I let a buddy of mine use both hands....on a 4ft piece of 2inch pipe,I held it with one hand,and he couldn't turn the pipe,in my hand. |

He came back pretty strong. They just went in and cut the sheath the ligament rides in length-wise. I'm betting your partial-ROM work and your finger locks are causing the ligament to get caught in the sheath. Just lay off the grip stuff and do some of the captains of crush finger extension work with a band to give the opposite motion a chance to catch up. I wouldn't rush into surgery by any means.

Oh, my buddy was a sniper and actually got his trigger finger from a trigger over time. He wasn't an armwrestler.
