Pushkar won easily, didn't even have a match. Krasimir took 2nd, Zoloev 3rd. Hutchings took 5th. Hutchings beat Bresnan in an all out WAR. Thats all I can remember. Im sure there's a link to the results somewhere

Having been to Nemiroff in 08 and getting 2nd in class and 5th in open, its an extremely TOUGH tournament... ANd seeing how many MORE competitors there were in each class, it must've been even harder....
You REALLY need to train for endurance.
I don't know about this yr, BUT in 08, there was a 3 1/2 hr break between the class and open ( class finals r BEFORE the open) AFTER the break because of 4 tv shows filming, one live..
After a 3 1/2 hr rest braek, i just wanted to sleep, and it showed in my placing...
SO, if ANYONE else EVER goes ( I am HOPING to in 2013), you better b prepared,,,

Tokarev was 4th I think. Hutchings had wars with Zoloev who won and Bresnan who Todd won. Tim and Todd had slip strap referees grip and at least 3 hard pulls with double elbow fouls, thanks to Neil and video refs, I think, they didn't let elbow fouls decide the match. Pushkar didn't have competition and was cruising both hands. Who can stop him in a tournament? I think Denis, Michael and Devon who weren't there.
John had great wins, legendary pulling style and is coming back.

Who did John beat and who did he lose to? Can't wait to hear the details. John lost to Krasi won against Tamas and lost against Tokarev if I remember correctly.

Who did John beat and who did he lose to? Can't wait to hear the details. My comment about John was in general, he took second in 95 kg class laying down to Todd to save themselves for the open which they announced early so nobody was expecting anything. According to Todd, John has his number and I believe could have been the 95 kg class champ. In right overall John had a battle with Krasi, took his wrist in the first pull, in a second start he lost in a hook trying to take the wrist and showed he's not far behind. He won Tamas convincingly and then got surprised by Tokarev fast.

Yes, John and Krasi was close and a great match. John could open Krasi's wrist from the hook!

That's awesome! Thanks for the details! Sounds like "The Perfect Storm" is back! Or at the very least, on it's way back!

Someone put up a slew of the Nemiroff 2012 finals videos last night on YouTube but they were all gone today. As it cost 30.00 to view the whole tournament I think Nemiroff is pretty emphatic about guarding this content.
