Sounds like an interesting hobby. I've never done anything like that so what's something I can start with? Where I work I've got long 12hr shifts of crew/plant management so practically nothing physical. Id like to try it out. Start off with something like this... www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/BENDERSBAG.htmlI think it has everything you need to build up hand and wrist strength. yeah, this is a good site, this is where I get crap to bend. good fair pricing too

And also, there is a message board called the "gripboard.com". There was a dude on there who when by the name of Gazza. He was butcher or meat packer in England. Anyway, he is the undisputed bending king. He bent a 2" piece of 5/8" stainless to regualtion, AND bent a 5" piece of 5/8" stainless using his frikin TEETH! There are only a hand full of guys that can bend a 5" piece of 5/8" stainless with full leather wraps using a proven leverage technique. Nobody in the world was even close, he ws the Brzenk in his prime of bending. This guys forearms were HUGE, and he was a nut.....he reminded me of an English gangster from a Guy Richie movie. Gary Hunt (Gazza) was a hod carrier. The 5" piece you're referring to was 3/8" Stainless. And I believe his best bend was actually 3/8"x6" Stainless. You won't find his videos anymore since he removed them all. The "proven leverage technique" must be referring to "high double overhand" method of bending. I'm familiar with it. Used it quite a bit myself. And as far as I know, no human has ever bent 5/8"x5" Stainless with any style of unbraced or braced bending.

Joe Kinney is and always will be the king of grip Too bad there was never an identifiable eye witness to JK's alleged #4 close! Too bad the alleged gripper got stolen by JK's own admission in writing but yet re-appeared in an IM catalog less than a month later! Huum? Further, there's not an eye witness to any of JK's claims of gripper strength! Not one! Too bad JK vanished from society and can't be found to answer some legitimate questions about his claims! If you're legit, you don't hide! You demonstrate your claims in front of reliable witnesses or at a contest! Truth fears only concealment! Hence, no one can find JK! Go figure! Lastly, too bad JK's former best friend told me in a telephone conversation that the whole #4 thing was a hoax gone too far! Instead of identifying it as just that, ( a prank) Randall Strossen ran with the story for whatever reasons one cares to guess! BTW, JK never did mention or name who he bought a #4 gripper from after the original one allegedly he had got stolen! I think the reason he claimed the original #4 got stole is because the #4 gripper was tampered with (heat) so he had to have an excuse! This is why when you watch the video footage of his alleged #4 close you never see the gripper opened up in his hand after he closed it. The reason why is because if it's been tampered with it will not spring back to its original fully opened position. Joe Kinney in my informed opinion is not the king of anything unless there's such thing as a King of Fraud!Oh yeah! I almost forgot! Some of the best evidence against Joe Kinney's claim of closing a legit #4 is the video itself! He forgot to make it look difficult! Keep in mind at that time no one had even considered that this gripper could be closed. Therefore, the required effort was not known. Now that there's been several individuals close a legit #4 one can readily see that the video is an obvious fake! Don't take my word for! Just watch the video and then compare it to legit #4 video closes! It's a no brainer folks! Not to mention there has been no one to date to close a #4 gripper under the new rules of a credit card set. JK's alleged close was damned near a no set yet one is to believe that a 180 lb. guy within 18 months of training closed such a gripper when many 250 + guys have tried and failed! The above will give anyone something to think about when they go to claiming Joe Kinney is the King of Grip! BS!!!!
