Well it's been awhile since I've been around There was a time when you could get on here and read good sh!t and have a laugh or two.
I'm hoping the powers that be will allow me some time to stretch my legs on here and give this site a much needed kick in the ass. I mean there was a time when you could receive a death threat or two on here and no one cared. I know I got my share during the tournament scandal of 2010 or during the great Steriods debate of 2012. Or my views on the pulling John video! I mean who doesn't miss Dixon Glory? Or Tom Nelson telling everyone to "shut up stupid"?? Or good old Mac Telle when he first started Trolling?? Hell Corey Bresnan even made some great post on here.and John Wilson. Where he go?? The thin skinned people should come to realize that trolls make up the best part of any board. Has this board become a no fun zone? There use to be sooooo much trash talking...challenge matches.....sexting.....gender bending... (haven't forgotten my favorite gal Robin Chandler .) Any way guess we will see if we can talk about something besides how best to toproll out of a hook or hook out of a top roll for a bit. Guess we will wait and see.

Trolling can be fun. It did get way out of control, and in response moderation got way too heavy handed. Then the board was no fun at all. That, and Facebook has pretty much taken over. Man, do I miss coming to this board!

I'll come back so long as it's fun. Maybe we can get a handful of people to come back and knock the dust off it.

As for Facebook I've never had it.... Prolly never will. To me Facebook is like the guy who wears good chains jeans shorts ( hey TK!! ) and backwards hats... Don't be that guy!!! I guess people like it. But to me its for women and guys like Mac Telle..... I could be wrong. But I'm not.

North Dakota? My brother works there six months a year, up in Garrison. He's a crop duster, so he works in ND all summer and comes home to FL for the winter.

Me- doing great. I compete when the bug hits me, but I've been mostly reffing for quite a while now. I love the sport, but I hate training. Honestly, I always have. I pull for fun and sometimes I get a win that I shouldn't. But I found that happy place in the sport where you can actually have a lot of fun without it becoming a full time job. I love coaching newer pullers and passing on what I've accumulated over the years, in hopes of saving someone the years and years of heartache I went through learning everything the hard way.

Mainly, though, I just work. A lot. When I'm not working I make knives.

Sounds nice John, I'm toying around with pulling again. I don't train for it. But I still lift and I'm still sexy. Lol
I was in the gym a few years ago and saw WAL on tv and thought wow ok here we go.
But I guess that faded quickly as I've not heard anything about it since.
It seemed good but the weight classes I didn't understand. Maybe some one could give some insight.

WAL is still kicking. The Game of Arms tv show went away, but the underlying organization is still hosting really huge events. They have played around with the weight classes to try to mix it up some and get deeper classes. Seems to be working.
