Ryan, the one that may come to US is not the Russian puller but my friend from Turkey.he beat the Russian at the last Europeans easily.i want him to compete the next supermatch under 143.

I agree with Engin. I don't think Gokhan has much competition under 143 lbs. No disrespect to Simon, Rick and others in USA but he is simply at the top right now.
Engin what do you think of Avants from Craig's team? He looks like he is getting stronger everytime I see him. I seriously think he will be someone to watch in the future under 176 lbs.

Actually I did see him at the Travis's Tourney Last year about this time. Him,Bill Sinks and I threw some matches after the tournament and he was very strong inside. How ever he does not use a deep hook, It is more of a rotation kind of hook. He was around 150 then. He is gaining weight as he is only 22 yrs. old. Very strong inside, good hand, strong fingers, good tecnique... I wonder if he will win the GNC this year?

Jerry has a tremendous opportunity to really show his stuff, George is the best in my opinion under 200lbs in NORTH AMERICA right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I here that Jerry gets the best of Olin at practice but I think that Olin "WILL RISE TO THE OCCASION" and will place higher than he will, Jerry will lose to CRAIG on purpose, and then OLin and Jerry will meet in the SEMI'S... Craig and George will pull for 4 minutes or so and after Olin defeats Jerry he will then beat a tired Tullier.......
1st - George (even with some HOMECOOKING he will win easily)
2nd - Olin (this will also be the last time Craig and Olin will speak, the next day Mrs. KAREN will have a meeting with Craig to tell him that "Olin was talking about his victory over him and how he beats Craig at practice sometimes". Craig will tell OLIN never to come to his house again...
3rd - Tullier (Will be the best "Armwrestler" at the event, but "CRAZY" George is, well "CRAZY" George.... It's not exactly pulling but it's winning.....
4th - Avants - Still 3 years from being the MAN, but I do think it may be possible, NAH I change my mind, he a BUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST MY OPINION, TRAVIS

Engin you are talking about Tagir from Russia correct, I pulled him my first match but it was not much of a match, it was the last time I ever tried to play a game on the table, no excuses I tried to hit him top early and get the false start so he would think top then I would go hook because I knew he was not strong inside, well as it turned out I went early top he went just as early and there was no quick start call so I was stuck outside with him where I did not want to be, I held him off for a bit but in that position I really had nothing for him. Me at 132 in Dec 2003 and me now at 143, two different people. I am looking forward to this super match, and I hope the class is loaded.
Jerry Avants, I hear he has a great hook, but every time I have seen him pull RJ, RJ has flattened him outside, I used to be in this same position, and I still am to some extent, I was very good in the hook but I could not force everybody there and at the time I was not even remotely a good toproller, after Dec 03 I started working on an outside style that fit me and it is coming along now, I will never be the best outside puller but I am working on getting better at it. Jerry will have to develop an outside style for himself to take things to another level, but I agree with Travis that he has the potential to become very good, it just depends on what he wants for himself in this sport.

Travis....
When is this event going to happen and where?
Let me know .... all I need is three weeks and I could be in the 143 pound class as well. Hopefully all the guys you have listed will be able to attend. Getting a few guys from overseas will make this tournament really interesting and tough! What type of bracketing would you use with this many guys?
