Erik is a beast. He told me last year that his hand and wrist are a lot stronger than when he pulled back in the 90s. He has been doing a lot of rock climbing and the last time I saw him he was the leanest 185 pounder I had ever seen. Huge arms. He went to AAA PA states and wrecked everyone, even in the overall. But I have a feeling someone else will be showing up from CT in that class at Unifieds. And he ain't goin down without a fight.

Hey James, I think that we will have about 3 guys in that class, you, me, & Eric. It would be sweet if we all finished 1,2,3!!! Eric is really a beast, yes, but to him, he is not. Eric, not only because he is family, is a very modest person who feels that he has a long way to go before he is on top again. I just pulled him & Brian, AKA Superman, on Tuesday & let me tell you, Eric is right where he needs to be. He is so damn solid inside, outside, you name it. I am looking foward to pulling with him all winter. He does not really want to pull alot of people in training because alot of people like to discuss other peoples flaws on the table. I stopped going to Al Verelli's in the 90's because everyone was telling out-of-staters how to beat certain people. I also said to Eric that he too would be wise to pick with whom he trains. As much as people within CT may want to pull or train with Eric, me included, he will decide where he wants to train. He is having another table be built for his apartment so that he may train whenever he wants. I hope we can all get together like we use to in 2000 to train, but that is not my choice. People know my number, & other than Vic, my phone has not rung to train with anyone. I know that I have been invited to train with people before, but if Ct stands a chance of EVERY winning a National Team Tittle, we need to start training once again as a TEAM. Eric , being modest, will not want to train with negative people. He wants to pull with those that have the same heart & determination as he does. With that being said, I hope that this starts the ball rolling back in the direction it needs to. Just my thoughts & opinions, take them as you may...

Josh,
I'm a little confused, are you saying the pullers in ct are negative, undedicated and don't have heart because that simply is not the case, We have alot of dedicated pullers who go to tourneys pull and represent not only in CT but in other states as well. These pullers train hard on a regular basis and it shows. I'm so proud of how we have been coming together and working and learning from each other, so I'm not sure where you are coming from or where you have been?

I knew I would be understood wrong. I was only trying to interprite what Eric was saying to me. No one that I can think of that goes to practice has less heart than the other. I did not mean to offend anyone, merely just trying to get Eric point across. He sat here & read what I wrote & was sure his point was going to be understood. I never said anyone in CT was not determined or that anyone was heartless. Sorry for the confusion. Eric, simply put, does not want to train with just anyone. He , even being out for so long, still has National Tittles under his belt. He feels like when he came here to train in the past, that there were a couple of people that seemed to him, again not me, him, to want to do things their own way & he felt that training with those couple of people was not something he wanted to do. Eric has always been the type of person to go full bore or nothing at all. If you say you are spent, he wants to feel how spent you are. He has not been pulling like the rest of us have over the years. He is just an animal & wants the people he pulls to have that same mentality. Please do not get what I type as All Holy. Eric will come around in time, we just need to bug him enough. Don't forget that he is a Stark, and that we are very thick headed. All of you should already know that by how I have been lately. Yes I admit that, but things are changing I don't have time to be a prick anymore! Just want to pull the rest of you guys like we use to do , really!!! Hopefully it can happen again, in time. Glad to see you all are training like beasts, just trying to get back there myself... Again sorry for the confusion to everyone. Josh

Hey Josh, You mean there is another Stark out there, you can sure tell I haven't been around to long. I didn't read all the posts so maybe I missed it but is he a brother? a cousin? Does he pull lefty? Now my chances have gone up that one of these days I might actually get to pull a Stark. Those bracketing gods can't manipulate things forever. lol Dwayne
