Mr. Lasorsa, you are absolutely right that I do wish to have the qualities of any member on the DREAM TEAM, I am only stating facts, as Travis "THE KING" Bagent was the only one who seemed to stop the Russian heavyweight....Everyone else seemed like they belonged in a women class, just like I do.... I am not insulting anybody by the way, it just seemed that way on the videos from www.proarm.comTo Andy: No challenge from me buddy, I have been involved in the sport for about 11 years, and I know too well what my capacity is...unlike others that don't back up their claims.... I, for one, I belong in the womens league, just ask Chris Myers....He will personally tell you that I am his bit*h !!! |

Amedeo did you watch all the videos??? Cause even though Travis did seem to give Voveoda "some" trouble John B also peeled him over before going to the straps...

Yes Travis as well as John seemed to be the most effective against Alexy on that day . As for myself , I suffer from the same set back that John does , Though he fares far better than i do , I feel awkward against somebody that I have never gripped up with before . I didnt know what to expect from Alexy , now I do . Yes Travis FINALLY beat me , in a hook I might add ! But ask Travis why ? No discredit to Travis , he is an amazing arm-wrestler , BUT , I was cramping up so incredibly bad when he and I were up at the table , I had no back pressure to stop him . Hey a win is a win !!
So I guess what Armedo is saying is that even though I have 5 wins over Travis to his 1 over me , I belong in the ladies class because he had a better hit against Alexy ! BLOW ME !!
but hey holding hands with the ladies all night versus holding hands with guys all night sounds like more fun anyway !!
Look out ladies , Here I come !!

im a great fan of Brzenk but i dont believe that he performed any good against Alexy.Travis has performed the best against Alexy by having a good start.and when Alexy was pinning him Alexy lost his wrist control even had hand control and also lost a little of his angle between his hand and arm. but i believe that Matt had a real chance of beating Alexy at the second start i guess.but it ended by foul.Matt's hook was strong enough to fight Alexy but he just couldnt get in that position.just my thoughts about it.
Travis and Matt,you guys know that Brzenk is the king forever,dont you?

With out a doubt John is and always will be the best there has ever been . Yes some years down the road there my be an individual that follows the same path as John , but to accomplish all that he has done and is continuing to do ....... I dont know ! " THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME " MUHAMED ALI ! Case in point !! No one has even come close to him . Mike Tyson was on his way to challenge the the crown but ................well we all know the story . I get asked all the time , and I am sure Travis does also , " .....how do you compare yourself with John Brzenk ? " My response , " ...there is no comparison. If I can achieve 1/3 of what he has in my career , I would be happy !" It is going to a tough mental game for alot of great arm-wrestlers for many years to come . Living in the shadows of a legend . John has set the bar ALMOST out of reach. I only hope I come close. In the arm-wrestling community today ( excluding John and in the U . S . A .) nobody is completly dominating . It is a BLOOD , SWEAT , AND TEARS battle at every tourny. For the most part anyone of us in the top of the heavy class could win at any given tournament . As well as in all the other classes too ! Competition is tighter than a frogs ass ! The next 5-10 years in the sport are going to be huge. More tournys + bigger $$$ + alot of pullers = alot of competition. Travis , Dave ( if he continues to pull ) as well as myself are going to have our hands full for a long time. The Eric G's and the Rob B's of the world are constantly nipping at our heels , and one day if we are not paying attention , they will bite down hard and hold on. John , I still think that you can beat Alexy today ( me too ) , 10 years ago in your prime , you would have toyed with him and put him down with ease ! There are a few people that are quick to jump on the wagon with the next great hopefull , Man !! If some of you dont loosen your grip , Travis is going to be castrated !! Let the man breathe !! Thanks for all you have helped me with John . I have learned alot from you . Maybe too much !!  |
