US rankings only (sorry if you made that clear previously)
Thomas Soliwada Bair Simon RJ
Please forgive me if you think I am taking a bit of liberty with these, when I rank anything I always try to confine my position to wins against in head to head events with very little room for speculation, so although I do believe that RJ may have been a bit on the mend at the Unifieds I am not going to speculate on who would beat whom under different circumstances.
In early March all but 1 of these men will be in Columbus at the Arnold and at that time many things should become very evident. I plan on getting myself to the top of this list, we will see how it goes.

Easiest would be to throw up a web poll and let it be determined or just go by nationals results because at the time of your nationals who everone was the best puller that day reagardless of who showed up and who didn't show up. If u wanted to be ranked bad enough u should have showed up. Now I know their are circumstances pertaining to why some pullers showed up and why some didn't but on that particular day at your nationals the person who won that class was the best. Pretty simple reasoning.

I have been trying to find a web-poll that would work for our rankings, but the problem is that most web-polls have you pick only one choice. We need a poll where you can rate a the top 5 or so.
I will keep looking....but if anyone has any other ideas let me know...

Hi Kurt I contacted by email several companies and we can see what kind of reply we get. I sent this message to them. Is there a way I can create a poll where I have say 5 to 10 names of people to vote on in a prticular order? other people can come on and vote for them by rating 1 through 10 or first to last. Like say the 4th name is John D. and I vote 7th and another person 4th etc.then it tallys the average placement of voting? Thanks Guy ALSO ---- heres is one Kurt if you want to read or check www.hostedsurvey.com/hosted-survey-pricing.html250 FREE RESPONSES We have developed "extra special" pricing plans and discounts for: Non-profit and membership organizations Multiple Choice, Select Just One (Radio buttons)Multiple Choice, Select Just One (Drop down list boxes)

Here is another poll company who got back to me. I asked about pricing since we are not in for profit. If it is a small cost we can take donations and Kurt can set this up easy enough. Shouldnt be more then $100-$200 Hello Guy, Thanks for your interest in SyncSurvey. There are multiple ways to rate a person from 1 to 10 with our system. We also have a method to rank up to 5 people from 1 to 5 where no two people will have the same ranking. Our reports allow you to determine their average scores. Let me know if you have any other questions. Sincerely, Mitch Goldstein SyncSurvey 678-356-0209 www.syncsurvey.com

Im getting a fast and good response from the above company, Im sure I will have an answer posted here today.
Hi Mitch Thankyou for the fast response. We just want to put online for our group . Presently there is only a 150 free members and I think maybe 50 to 100 would vote on this.
We would like to have 5 different categories set up with 10 names in each.. And also possibly change a name here and there or ranking, or quarterly if needed.
We can even do one categorie at a time. Our categories will be by weight class divisions.154 Lbs 176 , 198, 242 and over and we may possibly add one more class. look forward to your response.
Thanks Guy

Guy,
I compete equally in 198 as much as 220 if I am lucky enough to make top 8 poll, where would I be ? 198/220 ? same question for other guys who fall in between like Jerry cole he pulls 176/198 about the same which would you rank them in. Do they lose points fro not pulling in their class enough..like James R for example he may not have as many wins in the 176 because a lot of times he pulls 242 just curious not bucking the idea Christopher Myers

Hi Chris We could rank them as Engin says in that weight class, but I think we should just vote and feel the process as we go. It wont be perfect Im sure. I also think we should have one person in one class rather then Have John B ranked in 3 etc.. Like I said wont be perfect. We could expand the rankings which we first talked about and it seemed like we wanted the condensed version. Sure we could add 165 187 and 220's I wouldnt mind that at all . we could cut it to top 8 instead of top 10 too. But some one or more will always prefer it a different way. We just need to come to a happy medium As far as my opinion on Chris Myers ( though I wasnt asked You would crack either top 10 of those classes in my eyes. As far as where I think you have been best recently, I think your stronger not going to 198 and staying with 209 and 220.. Just my opinion.

We are getting closer to finding a source for a ranking system by vote. Will keep you posted and Kurt will be checking on this information too as we weigh up our Options.
Also I dont know if we should make it a NorthAmerican rankings. Not yet anyway. I dont think we get enough matchups between the USA Canada And Florida ( that is a country I heard ;D ) Anyway we will have enough trying the USA first.
