I think this whole thing is rediculous. I am also rediculous. I am also assinine. I can live with that. (lots of laughs). I am however not making any demands. I simply suggested a possible resolution to the disagreement. No one needs to subscribe to it if they feel it unfair. They can create their own terms. I posted it here for all to apply their opinion. Yours has been respectfully accepted. Remember please that this disagreement began when John claimed to beat Eric. He didn't claim to alter the rotation of the earth. He was called on the carpet for this (by James to give appropriate credit) and when I came to his defense (in the name of truth) the accusations kept coming. This is as good as calling me a liar. I find this unacceptable. I was there, I saw it and it was no big deal. The only thing that came of it was an increase in respect for John on Eric's part. But look what it has become. What better way to settle a disagreement than a good old fashioned armwrestling match. That should determine who's the tough guy right? As far as right vs. left is concerned It matters not to me. I'm not capable of beating either one of them right or left. So if John loses to James then I will also lose to James and he will be deemed the rightful victor. In the end the earth will continue it's path around the sun and all will be forgotten and our friendships will endure. I realize that alot of what is said on this board is in the name of fun, but some of it isn't. There are a few folks who continually go out of their way to cause controversy when it isn't warranted. I understand that every sport can use an element of this and it can be a good thing. Pardon me please for reacting with such conviction. When I wrote the "shut the hell up" comment it was obviously written with a huge element of ridiculousness. Very similar to the level of ridiculousness that this disagreement has come to. Ultimately it is between John and James to settle. The next time it is implied that I am lying, I will back down like a coward and let the big dogs bark if it pleases the masses.
On a side note Christian, Benji told me a while back that you were once a body builder. If so, did you ever compete upstate in Sal Sollecito's competitions? I've wondered for a long time and never had a chance to ask you.
