Hi Aaron.......
Haven't spoken with you for some time. Looks like we shall meet this year for sure. Looking forward to seeing you.
Mike........ I am sorry to say that there is no prize money for the Masters. It's coming but not in April. John and I have spoken about other changes as well (all for the betterment of the sport) and will ultimately get them done.

Hey Keith -- I appreciate the question re the women.. I know that as far as the ladies go -- there are going to be some "out of this world" talent as far as us females are concerned.. Looking forward to it...
The $$ --well -- we have to start somewhere.. At least we get money......I have been to tournaments where all the women get is a pat on the back and a piece of plastic... with the guys getting cold hard cash... It was a bummer -- but I understood that the #'s just did not give way in thier budget to substantiate giving the women $$.
the way I understand it -- the more women that come and make their presence known the more challenging the event -- the more money to come down the pike... So we have a road ahead of us....

Thank you Dave, John & Joan! This event is going to be absolutely fantastic! I cannot even imagine the caliber of talent that's going to show up! Wow! Regarding the ladies' prize money... I'm with Nicole on the numbers theory... although even money with the men would be great... I'm glad to be awarded money at all! Hopefully, eventually it will even itself out. The important thing for everyone is not to look a gifthorse in the mouth! This is going to be great!

From a promoters perspective it isn't whether we like a class or not. It’s about numbers. At the event last year the same money was paid to left as right. The left hand classes got 50% less entries than the right. The ladies classes had the same for 1st place and almost the same for 2nd and 3rd. The men’s divisions had 100% more entries per division than the women. This is when the money was the same; there just isn't the numbers there to warrant the same prize money. Don't forget how far these divisions have gone. It wasn't that long ago that there wasn't even left divisions and some pro tournaments don't even have a second women’s division.
