Well...most armwrestlers' appearance is deceptive, especially for those not involved in our sport. Let's take such pullers as Babaev Ruslan or Alexander Bullenkov..Genadiy Fardzinov, Valeriy Kastanov...Eldarov Abdula, Hubulov Bondo...Engin Terzi....and many many others...Genadiy Kviknia also...that's because their strength is based mainly on side-pressure. Also sometimes that's due to one's constitution. In comparison with bodybuilders we are not impressive at all, even John or Alexiy Voevoda. I would say that for me a deceprively strong armwrestler in our sport is Hubulov, Kastanov...Hadaev - their wrists and forearms are rather small and short...so that I can think that their genetics are not that good. but still their power was/is enormous.

Bob / Russel That's a great marketing idea to bring in revenue. Mike Selearis probably got paid and helped market with this promortion... Another great idea... This is an idea I will surely hold on to. The only difference is that I would allow the challanger to pay up to 50 bucks. Anyone who beats the pro gets 10 times his Wager. I'll start with Jason (nepitism). Cobra for sure..... Best Regards, Jared

I don't know if anyone will agree, but IMHO James Smith does not look as strong as he is. I saw him in person at the Arkansas state championship ROTN and was fairly surprised with his overall size.

After yesterdays Jacksonville practice I have to say Danial Worely. Strength was quite impressive for such a unassuming looking kid.

Rich Lumpkis!!! JK. Watching early 90's clips of John Brzenk with his glasses on. He looks like he should be working for a software company. Then he just crushes all the giants!
