Yes Jacob can beat mike inside for sure and Mike probably got him from what I have seen 1 out 3 times outside toproll.
Mike may have improved some since then too.
As far as I know Jacob and Kevin have never pulled but I wish they had that would be a fun match to watch based on their styles. I got to like Jacob there though

Leonard.....You always have the birdseye view to most of these matches..But JMO, only if he flashes or gains top roll position...Not in a HOOK! Will be a great match tho......

Sol,believe me that the last man in USA that i would go in a hook match is KEVIN BONGARD!!!
he beat Bath,Woelfel and Barbosa at harley pull by hook:)

i was there,if im not mistaking he beat those guys in the overall class.Brzenk won 1. and he took 2.,he also was the lucky winner for harley!!!
im sure that the match between him and Jacob would be very tough one!

Engin,
A guy I train with named Dave George said he beat Bongard in a hook at the harleypull, not sure what year it was. He just told me this today and I was shocked. I will find out what year and let you know. Dave is good, but this would have been a huge win for him. He took 3rd behind Breznk and bucky russel I think.

Jim: Dave George got 4th lefty and 5th righty in 2001. And in 2002 he got 3rd lefty behind John and Gerald Dees. BUt I think that might be a typo, because I thought Dave got 2nd. He did not place in the top 5 righty...Bucky wasn't there in 2002, he was there in 2001 and 2004. Bucky was 1st righty with, I believe Chris Myers 2nd. Don't know who won left.

At the Harley Pull I smashed David George pretty hard and fast in the hook Righty but he paid me back Lefty ...ouch!.... it was Bucky 1st ( Barely ), Myers 2nd ,Terry West 3rd, David George 4th

i was there in 2000,and 2001.both times Bongard took 1. place.first year he beat Mike Selerais,and second year beat Brian(dont remember last name),in the final.i just can remember him losing to that guy.i believe that he once lost to Mike Selerais in 187 class in 2000 harley,and lost to me twice in the overall.then next year he only lost to Brzenk twice in the overall.in those years John and Kevin pulled in different weight classes.he might be mistaking.
Christopher,how can you beat a guy pretty hard and fast?

thanks guys! I was unclear on how he did, and he just told me this yesterday. So do you think he did beat him once, but went on to lose, or is he mistaken on beating him? I know his weaker area may be a hook, but his left is good. He will be at some of the big meets this year, we will see. Tough to swallow, I showed him this sport and taught him, now he whups me. Great hand, very lean, I think he will do well this year.

he didnt beat Bongard in 2000,neither in 2001 for sure.and im very positive that he didnt beat him in 2002 too.maybe he beat Bongard with left arm,but i dont think in 2001 because Bongard won 198 left hand class by beating Kenny Hughes in the final.and in the overall there were Dan Victor,Travis Bagent,Kevin Bongard,Kenny Hughe,myself and Mike O'Hara.and Kevin only lost to Dan Victor twice and took 2. place in the overall.your friend either must have been talking about a different year or he is mistaking.or maybe he beat him left hand.
