Man, I was fortunate, or maybe it was unfortunate...braincell wise...to be able to attend several concerts in the 80's: Ozzy- "Ultimate Sin Tour" and "Bark at the Moon", Aerosmith - "Permenant Vacation", and "Pump" tours, Poison, AC/DC- "For Those About to Rock", and "Who made Who" tours, ZZ Top- "Eliminator" and "Afterburner" tours, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, Judas Priest, Great White (imagine that) Dokken ...and others I do not remember off the top of my head ( too much second-hand-concert-smoke I suppose ...) Definitely enough music to stay intensified!

I think they need to make an armwrestling soundtrack, geared towards the workout.......Hey, I'd buy it.

Rob, later this month, on a Tuesday, Wed, or Thur I want to head down to AC as long as the girlasses from Poison aren't there. We should meet up and hang.

James count me in!
I have work all week but I can pull an all-nighter (I did saturday night). I played "Texas Hold-em" from 2 in the morning to 12 the next day. I ended up winning a little more than 400.

ok, I'm younger than all on the board and no one mentioned Metallica.........ONE, greatest song ever.......
even more like
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit
American Bad Ass Cocky - Kid Rock
Whatever Greed - Godsmack
and a good one my brother Pete got me onto was
I'ma Bang - DMX
it's like that song was created for armwrestling

Joe, are you on drugs?!?! That DMX song SUCKS! Shall I mention it is NOT child-friendly?!?! ;D I have to stick to Rammstein... I agree, Metallica is of course one of the true intensity bands to workout to. However, Liberachi is the most intense I have ever jammed to (not that kind of jamming either ... ), along with some ho-down square dancing music.

LOL
That was the best time to grow up. A time of transition from 60's -70's to the 80's.
What era are you from, Christian? ;D

THE VERY OLD ERA... No I'm kidding..The 80s..I'm not a fan of any of the music you mentioned..My problem was hanging in Discos..YES clubs where called discos in the 70s. My Uncle "looked " after a disco for the " Real " owners , so I would go there in 77 when I was 14. So I grew up on disco. Started working in clubs in 80. Work in my uncles "disco " with him in 84.
So my favorite music is Disco..NOW not the crap you hear on the radio, like Donna Summer. BUT songs and groups you would never have heard of...Also OLD new wave late 70s- very early 80s, up to 83...AGAIN not stuff you would have heard on the radio, BUT obscure music, alot of San Francisco New Wave.. AND Mo-Town.
Favorite groups: Sinatra, The Ramones ( greatest of all time! Took punk to Europe ). Led Zepplin, Earth-Wind and Fire, Metallica, And Pearl Jam.
I don't listen to music at home EVER. And I only listen to talk radio...Music now a days..S##KS!!!!!...LOL...Plus working in clubs for 25 years tends to turn you off to it!!!!

Uh....Christian....I am getting a visual here - A young Christian Binnie in white polyester with 4 inch lapels and platform shoes - - gold chains and combed hair to a T. OR, since you like the Rammones - A green mohawk with a nail through your nose!!!!!!! No, I see you in the polyester. Wheeww! I know what you mean about the music now-a-days sucking! Take rap for instance...not music at all. Country music has definitely gone down the crapper as of late. IMO I like my music that actually has real instruments. (Old time country music, old rock and roll, and some of the newer stuff) Although Rammstien has instruments, they are mainly techno. I only like them for their intense sound.
