This is an incredible movie awesome and powerful. It does not hold back the true gospel of Christ. It is a bold declaration of salvation through grace by faith, and acurate historical event. It's about the reformation of THE church. Awesome movie!!! For those interested political history or religous history and even scriptural truths.
I just rented it. I watched it in the theaters.
Martin Luther is one of my favorite historical characters. He boldy stood up against corrupted leadership in the name of Christ. He did so when even his friends who claimed to be christians, and most of them were, requested it is best for him to be silent. And by his convictions of the truth and simplicity of the Gospel he refused to be silent. For him to have been silent wouldve been to denounce the Gospel for what it is. If you have a bible in your home you can thank him for that. Until Martin Luther came along supposedly noone was worthy to read the scriptures but the priests and noone could interperete scriptures but the pope.
Just my opinoin (on the movie)
