The problem is that there are pro-horomones out there that will make you test positive for steroids. Then what do you do to that person? The supplements that they were taking we over the counter, so it makes it kind of hard in a situation like this.

Olin you are 100% right there are many supplements available over the counter legally in the US (not to mention what is legal in other countries) that will test positive on WADA standards and several that may test positive under even just a basic anabolics test. Where does the line get drawn and by whom.
Our sports highest authority the WAF, has proclaimed that they forbid the use of any substance on the WADA banned list, now we could say that edict is limited to WAF events, but considering they are the highest level of this sport and it is doubtful that armwrestling would get to the Olympics without them, you can see where their position could be universally accepted as “the” stance on supplements in the sport of armwrestling.
As I have said I do not worry about what people I compete against use because the argument about what should be allowed and what should not cannot be resolved, do we follow the WADA, or what is legal or illegal federally in each country, then what happens when you have international pullers in countries where the substance they use is illegal, are they now cheating, it seems as though there is no real solution.

Your point is well taken Engin and I would be glad to do it if I won as well. I guess from Olin's comments I was speaking not just about Vegas but the sport as a whole.
People have come on this board with concerns of people cheating under the guise of a broad generalization of substances and circumstances not to mention what recently transpired on the AAA board. I just think the issue is very complicated and there really is no clear answer as to where to draw the lines it is not as simple as "they know what they should not be using".

John Balco is exactly 247.56 miles from my house.......  , no traffic I can be there in 3 hours......just kidding. My wife complains about the cost of the stuff I buy at GNC with my gold card, I am surely not spending the kind of money top of the line gear would cost, and I do not think I rate like Bonds to get it for free "allegedly". |

I can find the same stuff cheaper on line and at mom and pop stores but I have no patience for waiting for it to deliver nor driving around town looking for it, there are two GNC's on my way home and one is attached to the mall I go to near my house. Even with the minor % reduction supplements are costly.
